Rainbow Road

My entry for minigame competition #43. Mario must run across the rainbow road collecting coins of various colours. Instructions in game. Special thanks to Black Squirrel and tachin for most of the sprites. Who can unlock all the achievements? EDIT: Now playable in window mode - press F4 at any point during the game to change screen modes. EDIT: If the game gets an error message upon startup, delete the file named "savegame" and it should work.

Myuu	Greatly exceeded my expectations. Don't let the coin-collecting theme scare you away, this has the highscore game lover's seal of approval. You will have to keep track of your own score though.	9 / 10
KP Blue	Well, I'd give this game a nine. Slow down the flashing when mario gets the rainbow star, make the silver coins, the bob-ombs, and the bullet bills stand out more against the background, and make it possible to control rainbow Mario while he's invincible, and this game would get at 10.	9 / 10
Medicguy2	I'd recommend it, like I said a couple of times, to those with spare time, who want to beat a score they set, or for the achievements. If none of those work at the time, still pick this up for later. 7/10	7 / 10

Just to let you know, you have to put the game on your computer in order for your unlocked achievements to be saved.

OK. Um, WAY to slow for my computer.... Could you add a feature so you can change it from full screen to window mode? Full screen scares my computer.

You've played an old version of Rainbow Road and the save file is still on your computer. Delete the file named "savegame" and it should work. Actually pretty cool. I made 70 coins after some practice, though I still need some more time (Been only playing it, what, 15 minutes?) Still pretty nice, though.

Really good time-killer. The achievements are good and all that stuff, but, as KoopaKingdom said: "It should happen something when you collect them all." It doesn't have to be big, just change the title screen or something. Maybe you could add "Milestones" from TF2 if you know what that is. If not, i will explain. After a certain amount of achievements you get a milestone, and that usually gives you some kind of item, or a mode. Ex: MILESTONE 1: Clear 10 of the achievements. MILESTONE 2: Clear 20 of the achievements. MILESTONE 3: Clear all 28 achievements.

I... never noticed this before. I'm going to review it now. EDIT: I think my highscore is 123, but I'm not sure since I didn't bother to write it down and mariobro didn't bother to include a high-score list in his game. :( DOUBLE EDIT: 214 points!!! Boo-Yah!!
