MFGG - Mario Fan Games Galaxy

This is a sprite sheet ripped from custom Wario sprites that I stumbled upon by SuperLuigiBros at SMWCentral (source: http://www.smwcentral.net/?p=section&a=details&id=693). I was immediately blown away by the authentic look of the sprites, and the only flaws I noted were that Wario was wearing Mario's brown boots instead of Wario's elf shoes, and that some sprites had some weird outlining. So in order to perfect what I thought was the best SMW-styled Wario sprites I've seen, I edited the shoes, made some very small changes, and then added new sprites specifically for Wario (his shoulder bash, carrying enemies above his head, and his butt slam). I've left out ones that did not apply (Wario does not "run" in his games or carry things underwater), but they can be easily edited if needed. I hope you enjoy SuperLuigiBros' sprites, and maybe one day, Wario can start shoulder bashing and stealing treasures in Dinosaur Land.

Dark Side of The Kingdom, a collab SMW hack is using those sprites you mentioned. But anyways, nice rip and edits CouchTomato.

Have a Waluigi with this and this would be perfect. I wonder how Wario will ride on Yoshi?

The same guy made a Waluigi, but that didn't strike me as "Wow, that's exactly like what Waluigi would look like in SMW!" like the Wario did. I might take a second look at it later though. Either way, I think one thing that a good Waluigi sprite needs is that he needs to be hunched (in addition to being lanky) -- I rarely ever see that, and so most custom sprites never stick out to me as hitting the "gold standard" yet.

Ik it's 2023 and idk if you're still here, but you should make that dang Waluigi I edited both of Wario and Waluigi (small idle) to look more like SMM2
