General Commentary and Game Overview
This game brings to mind an old saying that my father used to tell me...
"If you take crap and make it all pretty, it won't make a difference because crap is still crap!"
This is what I think of Super Mario Melatonin.

Pros +Excellent work on using NSMB sprites
+You did a nice job putting the overworld theme from NSMB

Cons -You butchered the goal theme song
-You tried to hard to be funny in level 2
-You gave me a heart-attack despite putting a warning in the beginning
-Even though you put NSMB sprites in there, you ruined it by putting 16-bit Super Mario All-Stars sprites and Metroid sprites in there.

Impressions
Gameplay
4 / 10
A nice platforming engine, however, the levels are bland and just plain stupid. You repeated the same obstacle in Level 1 three times!

Graphics
3 / 10
Excellent New Super Mario Brothers sprites, however, by adding the 16-bit sprites, you just ruined it.

Sound
3 / 10
I loved hearing the overworld theme, however, upon hearing the goal theme, I was shocked to hear that you butchered it by trying to make it sound funny.

Replay
1 / 10
Replay value? When I am relaxing, I will NEVER think, "I want to try Super Mario Melatonin again!" This game was THAT horrible.

Final Words
1 / 10
Super Mario Melatonin was horrible, unfunny, and a plain waste of time. Both to make and play. I'm giving it a single point out of pity.

I'm going to say that "this" review, unlike the last, actually points out flaws. But I don't think that this was a complete waste of time, seeing as how we obtained a minigame competition badge first place entry. It actually was meant to cater to the forum's dry, and sporadic sense of humor, and I think we certainly did that.
