General Commentary and Game Overview
SMBTDX is really an amazingly created game. With secrects hidden everywhere, lots of unlockables, and a good engine, SMBTDX may just be the greatist fangame to date.

Pros -Smooth engine
-Lots of enemies and bosses
-Unlockables
-Secrets

Cons -Glitches
-Really, really hard at times.
-Incredibly hard to play on keyboard
-How do you download levels?!

Impressions
Gameplay
9 / 10
SMBTDX's smooth gameplay is prehaps the best I've played. With things like triple-jumping and wall-jumping, the features could blow some fangamers away.

But glitches really eff this game up. For example, when you jump on dry bones with double or triple jumps, you kill them, but you get hurt. Wall-jumping is really hard to do with the carrot power-up, also.

But when playing through the game, you'll mostly notice the rediculios(sp?) glitches that uccor with the enemies. Sometimes enemies that are supposed to stay on ledges fall off for no reason, and sometimes enemies pop up at their starting position, or YOUR starting position, after they get to a ledge or when you die.

Honestly, this game's gameplay is good, not great. 9/10.

Graphics
10 / 10
The graphics in SMBTDX vary from SMB 1 SNES to PSX Castlevania, but they mix surprisingly well. Sometimes, though, things clash horribly, like in the World 1-1, but that was intentional, and gives the "something's wrong..." feeling, as intended.

Overall, not too many peeves, 10/10.

Sound
8 / 10
The sound here is amazingly awesome. Varying from SMB SNES to PSX Castlevania, not even a single level has the same music!

But, there is a problem. When your playing this on Vista, no soundeffects are heard. I've played this on XP, also, and the soundeffects are good, though Mario's "Ho!" "Ha!" and such repeating over and over can get quite annoying. Plus, if you stay on a ledge for too long after you've just fallen or jumped, the long fall sfx plays.
Not too shabby, but 8/10.

Replay
9 / 10
My God, I've played this game over and over and over to find all the secrects and unlock everything. Now that I have, I'll still play it, whether it be for inspiration, fun or something else. But, there is a problem, some people will stop playing after they've found and unlocked everthing. Luckily, I'm not one of those people, but some are, and won't play it ever again.
9/10.

Final Words
9 / 10
SMBTDX is honestly a great game, one that is not to be missed out on. In fact, download it now, because this one is staying on the desktop for a long while yet.

Yeah, the game does have quite a few glitches; most of them seem to involve collisions. I actually didn't even notice them much the first time I played the game, but on another playthrough I realized that there were many collision bugs.

Decent review overall, IMO.
