General Commentary and Game Overview
The game is very good and is a great time killer! It's like an official Nintendo game in every nook and cranny.
There might be some clashing sprites(they did not clash that bad, though) but this game is at the level of Toad Strikes Back and Super Mario Stardust! It brings up power-ups new and old and even brings up some new ones! A game recommended for all fans of the Mario Bros!

Pros -Great storyline and fun gameplay
-Neat level design
-Power-ups new and old
-Yoshi as ridable character
-Brings back Tatanga from his long absence-even in fangames
-Extra things to do when you finish the game
-Great sounds and are sometimes catchy..
-Presence of gameplay moves such as walljump, ground-pound, picking-up vegetables and coins from the ground and throw them, long jump, spin-jump and backflip
-Great engine and is not like a usual Hello clone.
-The game is addictive

Cons -Misspellings at dialogues
-Frustrating at some points(best example would be that Chain Chomp boss) and some hard levels
-Tatanga is HARD to beat. I had like about more than 35 game overs just to beat him.
-Sometimes, the weakness of the boss is hard to know(like that Cyclone Koopa)
-What the?! A Bill Blaster at the start of the level facing you! JUMP!
-Instructions are sometimes not too emphasized(who new you can discard unneeded objects by pressing Ctrl and the number of the item in the keybad and that you can throw objects vertically?)
-Once again, sprites clash(well not too much...)
-When you finish a level or go to another world, you have to start at the beginning of the map!
-Sounds can sometimes get too loud!

Impressions
Gameplay
8 / 10
The gameplay is great! The engine is perfect! Well... except for some issues where in a NPC can get stuck in a wall, like Lakitu in the cruise. Other than that, it is awesome!
This game is better than other games I played because you can do a lot of gameplay moves as mentioned in Pros section. Plus, when you ride Yoshi, you can actually flutter jump, some games don't have that. You have a lot of power-ups to choose from and buy anytime between any levels. I guess this is what will make its Replay value high because of the many ways you can finish a level. The game levels are great but some are very frustrating especially those with little space and many enemies.
I am not a fan of those "ride Bowser" levels, huge sprite mask, small enemies, burn the blocks which you have to wait-at least you have the ability to breath fire and those happens in only 2 levels.
You have the ability to store 3 items at the same time, a feature which is not usually found in many Mario games. It is pretty handy and you don’t have to wait for it to fall (unlike in SMW). The boss fights are fun and exciting, when they are not too frustrating nor have confusing weaknesses. Well, even though you can’t hit them with power-ups, they are still awesome!

Graphics
9 / 10
The graphics are neat but some sprites clash (again, they don’t clash that bad). The backgrounds are cool too except for some SMW ones which I don’t really appreciate. I like the recolored sprites like the Goomba! The tileset is great and varies in size, appearance and color depending on the world gimmick. Other than those flaws, it's still great.

Sound
9 / 10
I like the sounds for the most part. But some can get too loud. Nevertheless, there are various and plentiful sound tracks which hardly repeats at two worlds and some even have catchy tunes.

Replay
8 / 10
Well, a wide selection of power-ups can make you repeat a level dozens of times and you can finish it with different methods with different power-ups. There are also secrets after you finish it and I have successfully found them and I must say, it is fun! I might not be playing it again as a whole but I might replay the level bosses! They are still fun even if they are occasionally frustrating!

Final Words
9 / 10
Overall, this game is the bomb! It is fun and is a great way to kill boredom. It might have a few flaws, but who cares! You have a good game in front of you with a great storyline which eliminates all those negative parts of the game. A must-play to all Mario fanatics!
