Ugh, this is awful. I kept getting stuck in the ground. There are no grass corner tiles. Goombas just disappear when you jump on them. There are randomly moving backgrounds. Goombas have no sprite for walking right. PLEASE don't make spacebar the jump button. The level design is horrid. You used the default gray text boxes.

I haven't played it yet, but judging from the screenshot you should change the Mario sprite to a custom CK-styled one. The current one clashes with the tiles. If you can't do that, at least change it to the 8-bit SMB2 or SMB3 one; that would clash less. I'd say the same thing about the enemies, but you already said you're changing them.
