General Commentary and Game Overview
Not to be confused with Paul Ter Voorde's flash cartoon, Super Mario Reloaded, this game is much closer to being an unofficial sequel to Super Mario Rampage, a flash game. The concept is beyond sick. But it's an amusing game, despite lack of polish.

Pros *Static platforming engine. *Cool intro music *Nice blood effects.

Cons *No save. A Game Over will put you back to the beginning. *Mario's jump height varies too much. *Clumbsy controls. *No aim.

Impressions
Gameplay
8 / 10
This is simple, but not bad gameplay. Shooter got more complex on the NES. There is no aim, so jumping is the only way to hit airborn enemies. But the gunplay is still fast, frantic, and fun. Also, some very true-to-Nintendo note block springs are a nice, and impressive touch. No gamesave--that will frustrate casual players. Also, controls aren't the best, and I constantly found myself pushing the wrong button by mistake. Such as changing my gun when jumping or shooting.

Graphics
6 / 10
Everything is from Super Mario World, except for some Paper Mario 2 power ups, and the guns. The blood is probably an MS Paint effect, and it is the best part of the graphics. Everything else ain't so great.

Sound
7 / 10
Kudos to any game that includes a cool AC/DC song as its theme music. "Shot Down In Flame"--what a fit! But the rest of it is just SMW music, which is just about as boring as SMW graphics.

Replay
5 / 10
I didn't beat this game, so I don't know.

Final Words
7 / 10
A good laugh, for a while. Should appeal to the VGDC crowd. Needs more polish, in some areas.
