Super Duper Mario
preview
By: KoBeWi
It's my very old project I abandoned long time ago. Lately I put some work on it just to update engine and fix the bugs so it can be re-released. Not that it's still in development, but what is currently done is fine enough to try.
It was going to be Ultimate Mario Clone (like SMBX). The list of features:
-advanced level editor
-possibility of multi-section and complex levels
-weather effects
-random level game mode
-dynamic lighting function and glow block
-4 worlds to play
-lots of original additions

It's made in the same 'engine' as my Mariovania so compatibility is similar. Enjoy :)

UPDATE!
Many people complained about the speed. Mostly, that it runs too fast. So I should have adjusted all the values to make the speed proper. But ain't nobody got time for that. I just added 'Slow Mode' which makes FPS cap at 30. Hope you like it.
Also, for people who had problems with editor, I changed Editor Help a bit, so now it's EASY to be noticed and contains vital informations about basic use.
Completion: Full Game Genre: Platform
Franchise: Mario

Not bad. But the clashing graphics and lack of storyline bug me a bit.

Nice reference but completely unnecessary.
Anyways, the jump seems to be a bit too fast in my opinion.

Sorry to everyone who experience crashes, but it's an OpenGL issue. On some computers there are just compatibility problems and I can do nothing with this :(

The game is pretty good but you could slow the speed down to normal speed and also add a fireball sound effect.

You've got to be kidding me: Mario and some koopas move at lightspeed, Mini Mario and some koopas also jump as if in space, the blue mushroom does absolutely nothing, there's clash everywhere you look, Mario is very slippery, and more.

Lightspeed space Koopas are a feature. They just have speed/jump values adjusted. The Blue Mushroom is an unfinished feature (project is ABANDONED as stated in it's description. No major updates).

Also, I considered some of the comments about the speed and editor and made a small update for that (uploading just now).

You're saying you're perfectly okay with koopas springing out of nowhere while you're completely unprepared?

Then REMOVE IT until it's finished so players won't get it on random mode, or waste their time seeing what it does on the level editor.
