General Commentary and Game Overview
You Versus Boo Deluxe is a great fangame. Nothing more needs to be said. But I will anyway. The object is toe beat Boo to the end of the level by running, jumping, smashing, and pounding through it. The Boo can be set to Easy, Normal, Hard, or Hardest, the mode can be set to Race, Time Trial, or Red Coins, and Mario's status can be set to Mini, Small, Normal, Fire, or Mega, giving you a variety of different ways to play. The game also comes with a very over-complicated yet completely awesome scoring system so you can see when you improve. This game is good enough already to be a full game, but as a demo, that just makes me want to play the full version even more.

Pros Completely cool scoring system.
NSMB styled SMB edits.
Very good choice of music.
There's a sound effect playing almost every second.
Bright, colorful, shiny menu screens.
A variety of ways to play.

Cons Why game over music for a results screen?

Impressions
Gameplay
10 / 10
The gameplay, like I stated above, is absolutely awesome. With 4 difficulty levels, 3 game modes, 5 statuses, and 8 levels, this is good enough to be a full game already. The levels are well designed and though out, there are no glitches that I am aware of, and this game be adapted to casual and hardcore gamer alike. Gameplay gets a perfect...

Graphics
10 / 10
This is probably the only game where I actually think 8-bit old school graphics look good. Agin, I really like how the NSMB animations were applied to Mario's SMB sprites, and the super Mario World graphics also fit in oddly well. The results screen has better graphics than any result screen I've seen yet, as do the menus. This, of course, also gets a...

Sound
10 / 10
There is a sound effect playing almost at every instant. I can't think of any action or event that there isn't a sound effect for. The music is the same throughout each world, but is still good nevertheless. The menu music is good also. The only complaint I have is the results screen music. I don't understand why Flipiberke would use game over music for a "You Won!" screen. But that is so minor, I'm still giving this a...

Replay
10 / 10
I'm intending on keeping this game for a very long time. I still haven't played every level in every possible way, and I can't get enough of that music. I'd give the replay an 11 if I could, but I'll have to deal with a...

Final Words
10 / 10
This game goes right up there with Snowdodge and Xbox 360 Crusher as one of the best minigames on MFGG.
