Toad Strikes Back

Sooo, after a good couple of years of tireless work combined with tireless laziness, Toad Strikes Back is finally complete! Take control of everyone's favorite mushroom and traverse over 50 unique levels, in an adventure that pays homage to each of Mario's classic sidescrolling adventures. Controls: Left and right arrow keys - move Toad. Up and down arrow keys - look up/down, aim vegetable, enter pipes. Shift (Fire 1) - Jump. Hold to jump higher. Ctrl (Fire 2) - Lift/throw vegetables, use items, or hold to run faster. Space Bar - Select item. Backspace - Exit a stage you have already beaten. Don't waste your time reporting bugs, because chances are I already know about them (and have for years), and are not gameplay-threatening. Just have fun with the darn thing already. ;P (Credits are to be posted soon)

These comments make my teeth cringe. This game isn't perfect, but it's definately the closest MFGG's got to a perfect game. Excellent, excellent work, TD. Very enjoyable.

The fact that it's toad and not mario is integral to the storyline. Or did you even notice that there IS a storyline? Edit: Twistendo, the shyguy boss is beaten by picking up and throwing his trident (giant fork thing). it's difficult but he dies in only three hits.

there is 1 bug that is most important.~~In "the Big Pipe"the boss,[Iron Woods W4 Boss] When I pick up A Pick up Block in the boss, it just disappears. =0 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Anyways--Great Game--

What in the world is this game supposed to run on? Vista? I use xp and it freezes up every so often. Then I have to restart the game and start all over. I got to the first castle and thats as far as I've been able to get before it glitches up.

really good game! well,i never liked toad but the game were good! excepted in the part where you must swim in lava (boss stage) i died about 30 time and then i stoped to play.i wish i could finish the game to say if it were good,but i got lot of fun playing it

It doesn't lag because you have XP, I have xp and it works fine. what version of windows you use doesn't make it run slow, how does that even make sense? your computer just doensn't have a fast enough processor, and installing vista wouldn't help anything.

i don't mean to offend anyone, but, in gameplay terms, this is actually better than SMB1. SMB1 did inspired every fangame and offical sequel, but it doesn't have great graphics and 50 amazing levels with combined gameplay. also, you don't get to ride yoshi...
