General Commentary and Game Overview
While updating the site, I've noticed there's quite a few Mario Kart games. Unfortunately, they're all 2D, overhead, and really just feel like you're moving a bunch of sprites around in a stage. This is the first Mario Kart fangame I've played that actually feels like Mario Kart.

Pros -Mode 7-style tracks.
-The new items are great and feel natural in the gameplay.
-Multiple racer types
-It's a good Mario Kart fangame.
-It's a good Mario Kart fangame.

Cons -No sound effects.
-Some clipping issues (falling through the water into an abyss of nothing, going through other racers, etc).
-Some balance issues
-Could you include a track editor in the future? Pretty please? With ice cream on top?

Impressions
Gameplay
9 / 10
It's about time someone made a game like this. It's a Mario Kart fangame that functions like Mario Kart actually does. There's items (including a couple new ones), different stats for different racers, multiple real tracks, and just plain old working correctly.

The biggest problem with the game is that it feels like the driver types were overcompensated. For example, by the time that Bowser (slow type) gets up to full speed, people with lower speed and full acceleration have already completed half a lap.

There's a few other minor issues, like being able to drive through the other racers, some glitchiness with water and pits, and item blocks not becoming "used". Other than that, this is incredibly solid.

As for things to add: if this game had multiplayer of some form, as well as a track editor, that'd seal the deal.

Graphics
9 / 10
Wow. It took long enough, but someone finally got 3D Mode 7-esque graphics down to an art. Everything looks great, and there's even a couple nice touches like having 3D walls. The biggest flaw lies in the framerate chugging a bit, but I guess there's nothing that can really be done about that.

Also, it could use a better font. Maybe something like this:

Sound
7 / 10
The one big downside to the game: there's only music, no sound effects. What makes sound a 7/10 instead of a 5/10 is that the music changes based on how the race is going, just like Mario Kart (for example, the music speeds up on the last lap). Nice touch.

Replay
8 / 10
It's a demo, but hey, it's the entire Mushroom Cup! I felt genuinely compelled to play as some of the other races just to see what they were like. That's pretty good for a demo.

Final Words
8 / 10
It's a Mario Kart fangame, and it WORKS. It's still a bit rough around the edges, but it's impressive that someone finally managed to pull off a real Mario Kart game well.
