General Commentary and Game Overview
Wow...I hate to see a good game brought down. These other reviews don't see the true point in Super Difficult Mario Bros. While there are certain frustrating points in levels, and it IS built off of an engine, let it be known that it's BUILT OFF of an engine. It wasn't a cheap edit. There were more levels, nice graphics, nice music, and a good challenge. Knowing that it was actually a GAME, it makes me wonder why the other reviews rated this down so poorly.

Pros -(Mostly) good level design
-Not just a cheap engine edit
-Good choice of graphics and music (Although the SMB theme is still in there unedited)
-Good challenge for what it is

Cons -20% of the time, I'd come across something cheap

Impressions
Gameplay
7 / 10
Don't you love it when a game goes beyond what the engine presents, if it even uses it? SDMB did that, and it did that just fine. Of course, I hate the cheap deaths. Fortunately, you can learn about the dangers through trial-and-error to progress further into the game.

Graphics
8 / 10
The graphics are colorful and neat. I really have nothing else to say about this. Actually, the one minor complaint I have about the graphics is that....is the hammer being thrown out of the Hammer Bro's butt??? There should be a sprite for him facing the right..

Sound
7 / 10
Yes, the traditional Super Mario Bros theme (that's also in the engine...what a shock) is present. Fortunately, there are other tunes that keep me satisfied. I have always admired music like Mario RPG's Forest Maze. Thankfully, that song's added in here.

Replay
7 / 10
If you like games like Mega Man, Contra, TMNT, or any other hard game that ever existed, this is most likely to be for you. Any Mario fan may also take a nice look at the game. Just expect a bit of strong challenge.

Final Words
7 / 10
Did the other reviews keep you away from this game? I pity you.
