These are good but I dont think these really look like M&L style. They need more shading to look like M&L style.

No big deal. But apart from the shading thing, you could turn them around. In the opposite of Final Fantasy, in the M&L saga, the enemies are on the right corner of the screen in the battlefield. Not that I'd suppose you'd be oblivious of it. Just a reminder. However, a recolor is good enough to have your name and work on the board for the first time. My first sheet was terrible, a bit of edits, bad ones. Persevere if you want to continue spriting, and things will just go on better. If you didn't do it yet, have a look at the M&L tutorials on the Spriters Resource. Both of them are of excellent advice. Unless you're not a newbie though.
