A remake of a game I made in 2003, with the same absurdity from that age.

UPDATE: Version 2 is out, almost a year after its original release! Included is 99.9% glitch fixes, fixed sound and sprite errors, a whole new sub story for if you decide to surrender to the Police when confronted, and a secret chapter. The ZekeWars Arcade Machine actually works and is playable!

TheSuperMario	I love the game! Its a bit hard and a bit short but other then that its perfect! The graphics are okay, the sound is okay, replaying the game is okay, pretty much everything is okay.	9 / 10
EvilYoshiToes	Definately one of the better games on MFGG. Beautiful scenery and cutscenes, great gameplay, and MarioDragmire perfectly put everything you would expect not to see in a good Mario game into a great one. The score is actually an 8.5, but that rounds up to a 9.	9 / 10

Good game, but two concerns. The drving part is is a little hard with the gas running short quickly, and the save function how does that work cause everytime I reload the game I start from the beginning.

@ The IT The game creates a file (example.sav I believe) in the game's directory folder. Well it should anyway. @McZaky29, by working (stumbling around blindly) on it for 4 years

Ugh... The collision detection and reaction times in this game are horrid. It's near impossible to win.

I gave up at the backwoods. That area is WAY too hard and unforgiving. Before that part, I was enjoying this game. It was pretty fun and I like the humour.

I absolutley agree with CK and SDB. The collision detecting isn't that bad, but the reaction times aren't so good. Really, once I was in the backwoods, shooting toads and I shot this one toad, and caught me, when he wasn't even alive. I tried to like this game, BUT the backwoods are near impossible. OK, there's cops everywhere who have extremely good eyesighgt and their radius of where they can see is enormus. So I'm walking, standing like a couple feet away from this toad, and bam, I'm caught. The game is pretty funny, and it has a near to perfect engine. But there are some things holding it back from being the best RPG - platformer thingy around. I give it a - well, this is a really tough desicion. While I like the game and want to give it a 7/10, I also feel that the game has some absurd messed up programming. (I'm talking about you, police toads.) Should I be the nice guy and give this game a 7/10, or be the strict - not caring about people's feelings guy and give this game a 6/10? I don't know, so I'm going to give this game a 6.5/10. If this was a full - fledged review, this would of got a 6/10.

I hear ya, CK, SDB, and Luigifan64. The backwoods sequence was one thing I worried about. I guess you guys woulda completely hated me if I had left it like it was originally (more cops and no lives). I'm sorry bout that, I want you guys to be able to play the rest of the game. I've updated it with checkpoints now (also when you eliminate all the cops in one screen your presence meter empties). It may be a while before the mainsite updates so check it out at the forum. As for the uninspired story, you're right. I left it unchanged from when I was 13. It's only after the Cops Chapter ends that I started with new material.

Saw the trailer for this and instantly wanted to play, and now I can! Thanks for finally releasing this, I'm hyped! Edit: I'm at Grievance, and I can't get passed him. There is a save glitch where I start the battle with 20 health instead of 40. This also happened at the beginning of Bowser's Castle with Luigi, though I was able to get passed that. Cool game so far, I dig how much creativity is in this (and all the pop-culture references). Edit 2: Haha, tried to edit my save file and I lost my spot :D...

Way too Hard even at backwood but the driveing! it way to hard your lose to easy at that i am giveing thisgame a 1/10 (sorry but its way to hard) Edit: The Goombas On The Road Are Anorying And One Thing I Wanto Play Your 2003 Version!!!!!!!!

ok, i got to the part where the officer was going to shoot me because he thought that peach's orders were fake. but after that all he would say was (only once) "where did i put my gun?" and then i was stuck! how do i get past that?

Cool game! I'm currently sneaking around the cops and using the fire flower from far away, I think I can get past them that way. Story is awesome so far. Edit: Got past them! Karting is crazy hard though.

I have a major issue with the new version. When I leave the 3rd area of the backwoods (the one with the cop that turns around and stands in place, and with a line of trees and another cop) the game turns black but does not go to the next section of the game. It just stays and plays the music.

I played through V2.6 now and it was nice to discover the (secret) dreams! And the ZekeWars arcade as usual. The timer countdown during the UFO escape didn't do anything harmful, wonder if it did that in a past version? I think a Flash Player must be installed in order to see the ending .swf It was pretty cool.

Great game! However I ran into a few problems...1. My game won't save. It saves fine until the next day when it resets. 2. Out of bounds glitch. In the cave where you meet the asteroid spirit, go backwards into nothingness... (You can't go back though...) If you have any idea how to fix the saving problem, let me know!

I had once tried this out in either late 2016 or early 2017 (I can't exactly remember), and I played up until the part where Mario was in jail. I later decided to play it again in late April 2017, and I managed to finish it. I had quite a blast with it! In fact, I think it might be part of my top 10 Mario fangames list. I love the creativity, charm, and secrets. I'm definitely planning on playing it again someday, considering that there's a secret chapter and alternate story. I'd love to see more fangames like this. By the way, does anyone know what I'm supposed to do once I get to the room with two guys, tables, and a big red door on the dream where you play as Mario? I wasn't able to figure it out, and I managed to walk off the screen on the left side. After that, I can't do anything but fall and move left and right.

Its too hard in the Blizzard area where Snowmans attack the attacks are way too hard to dodge Its not fun at all to play this part and so I don't really want to continue. its good, I'd say. but just too hard in some parts and I guess frankly the attack mechanics are a little weird but I'll let that slide as its just a fangame

The game seems to have lots of potential, but has some major flaws. I got softlocked between a fireball and a wall in the first section behind Mario's house. Then I got softlocked again between the police car and the wall after gaining the fire flower. I was really excited to play this since Legend of the Seven Stars is one of my favorite games, but encountering 2 softlocks in the first 10 minutes of the game isn't very promising. Also my keyboard stopped working after the first softlock and I still don't know how to fix it. I tried reinstalling the drivers, updating the OS, changing batteries, and even using a different keyboard all to no avail. The only one that works is my laptop's built in keyboard, but connecting keyboards with usb or bluetooth no longer work for some reason. Not sure if it's related, but I've never had an issue for the 4 years I've had this computer.
