Simple Enemy AI - Jumping Over Obstacles By: Spritanium [E] [W]
This incredibly simple example shows you how to make an enemy that can jump over walls, similar to the dinosaur enemies in Super Mario World. This tutorial is intended for beginners, as anybody who is in the least bit familiar with GM would be able to figure this out in a heartbeat.

It's quite to simple. When the hspeed is increased to 5 or so, then the object gets stuck and doesn't jump in time.

So don't increase the hspeed to 5.

But if I make a game named "hspeed=5", I need to change it and then it doesn't work.

...so don't make a game named "hspeed=5".
