General Commentary and Game Overview
Scratch is a free coding website where you can basically create your own projects, and with that comes a ton of games made on the website.

It's a good steppingstone for beginners who want to create their own games.

But when you post that game onto said website, you are possibly going to attract a bunch of people that remix your projects with barely any alterations, and unfortunately this game falls under that category as it seems to be a simple graphical edit of version 10 of PaulKoning's Super Mario Bros game.

Pros - It... uh... has its own story?

Cons - Graphical edits leave a lot to be desired
- Mostly unedited from the original project it's based off

Impressions
Gameplay
1 / 10
It's pretty much the same as PaulKoning's Mario project, same levels, same controls, same enemies, basically not much I could say besides at least change things up a bit if you're just going to take someone else's work and put your own twist on it.

Graphics
1 / 10
Pretty much the only things that have been altered with are the graphics, and I have to admit the graphical makeover here isn't very pretty.

The graphics that were edited look pretty bad, with the long ground tiles being solid grey rectangles and the background being detail-less with only blue circles being there which if I were going to guess are supposed to be windows. Some of the graphics that weren't edited look very off and out of place when compared to the mostly undetailed ones.

Most of the colors here seem to be comprised of grey's which makes the game look bland in my opinion, at least add some hint of a different color besides the blandest looking one.

Sound
3 / 10
Unedited from the original project it's edited from. Just some basic SMB1 sounds and music, nothing really remarkable.

Final Words
1 / 10
I don't really get how this was accepted as this is basically just a graphical edit of a Scratch project.
I hope next time when you make a game it's built off an engine with its own levels or just made from the ground up. Just remember this is not meant to discourage you from making games, we all start from somewhere and I think you can make a good game with the right tools and skills.

Hello, thank you for letting us staff know that this game is just an edit of another's scratch project. None of the staff are familiar with Scratch and its communities (as far as I'm aware), so we had no idea that this submission was stolen from someone else. I've let the other staff know, and this will be dealt with. Once again, thank you for brining this to our attention.
