I have tried to make another character (wario) but it messes up. When i play the game it doesnt know what allowwario means how can i fix it

add it to blocks step event.

Hey anyways how do you make mario jump in the game?
I have tried to understand but I can't.
So please just tell me.
This is what I've tried:
set the verticle speed to -0.5
Set the gravity to direction 270 and gravity 2
But still mario goes right up!
So just send me a meesage how to do it!
Please!

Ultramario how do I make it so that Luigi walks properly? In my game the way he walks isn't fluid, like he's stopping in between images or something could you help me plz?

Mario doesnt have a jump left sprite in this.(it means luigi too)

I started making a game maker game based on the Platform_6 tutorial in the GM homepage. i tried and tried to make mario reverse his jump but it doesnt work-example i am walking forward...i am jumping ,sprites are ok- forward facing jump- now i am walking back ward i jump-the jump seams horrible!(all these were about MY game)

Now in this tutorial that does'nt seem like a problem. but when i tried mimicing you -here it comes back!

Okay... When I play it, it either disappears on the loading bar, or it says "Unexpected error occoured when running the game" or something like that...

Try this code:
vspeed=-5
gravity_direction=270
gravity=0.5


Very good engine, although I can't find your Ultramario engine anywhere.

I don't know if this is a regular platformer (like SMB3) or if is a 2d rpg (like Mario and Luigi: SS) sometimes i'm optimistic

when ever i try to just use blocks vertically mario just walks through them :(
