General Commentary and Game Overview
What a surprise! Never actually thought this game would meet the light of day. However, after playing through this, I must say I was rather disappointed with this game. There are plenty of good things about this game, but I feel it isn't enough to stand up to G.R.O.M.

Pros Visuals are alright
Controls are good

Cons Bad level design
Uninteresting story
Short, even for a fangame
No bosses. Absolutely none.

Impressions
Gameplay
6 / 10
The controls are still fluid, nothing to complain about control-wise, really.

Although, the level design is very uninteresting, and is pretty much just blocks placed randomly everywhere. The predecessor had much more interesting level design, and this is just too basic. The only world that stands out is World 3. No water levels either. Which to me is a real downer.

As for difficulty, there is none. It's more like minor annoyances. Like mean enemy placement, and a lack of checkpoints.

Graphics
8 / 10
Graphics are good as always, but like I said before none of the levels really stand out.

The enemies look good, but some of their animations seemed a little incomplete. Such as goombas, with their 2-frame walking animations and unanimated bullet bills.

Many of the visual effects used in this were all pretty good, such as fireballs.

Sound
7 / 10
The sound effects for this game are all good, fit perfectly in every instance. The music is all pretty good as well, but the lack of level variety obviously means a lot of reused music. Which is a bad thing.

Replay
5 / 10
I'd say would be rather poor. The level design is certainly not something you'd want to come back to, and how frequently you hear the music can quickly get on your nerves.

Final Words
6 / 10
A short, uninteresting follow up to G.R.O.M. that I won't be coming back to any time soon.

Thanks for the honest review. I do find this review very interesting, given that the majority of the big issues you had with this game were, in fact, deliberate changes I made based on criticisms about Operation GROM. Hence the more basic, straight-forward gameplay. Sorry that it disappointed you. I guess GROM's slower, less destruction based gameplay has more fans that I thought!

Weston, what did you like better about G.R.O.M? I also miss the water level, but overall I like this new game better.

Toodles, it's risky to listen to players criticisms, because different players want different :)
