General Commentary and Game Overview
This game has such an original idea and is so well-made that I'm astonished that this game isn't the compitition winner.

Pros -The concept is very nice
-The custom graphics fit well with the original NSMB backgrounds
-The engine is well-made

Cons -Some small details, like koopa shields don't destroy each other when they collide, etc.

Impressions
Gameplay
8 / 10
The gameplay is higly addictive. You just have to survive for about 10 seconds, then a Mega Mushroom appears. When you take it, you should start moving across the screen to "Smash the DS" (hence title).

The difficulty gets higher the more the DS is destroyed. The top screen starts to malfunction, there a holes that block your view and the number of enemies get higher after a while. All of this makes the game extra challenging and very fun.

The engine is also pretty good, but as I mentioned in the cons, there are some very small flaws, like the koopa shield destroys only one goomba, etc. Perhaps this was done on purpose by Simoniester to make it more difficult, so it will not affect my score.

Graphics
9 / 10
Simoniester uses a combination of the awesome "NSMW Part 2" sheet from Rapid the Hedgehog together with backgrounds and tiles from the original "NSMB" and I must say, they really fit well together.
Nice job on the graphics.

Sound
9 / 10
Nothing to special like remixes here, but because NSMB remixes are rare, it doens't bother me at all. We hear the original music from NSMB and since this is a NSMB style game it suits the game perfectly. Also the Metal Wario Theme from SM64DS does a great job at replacing the original Mega Mario Theme.

Replay
8 / 10
It's a game that will not let you go for a while. First because it's very fun smashing a DS with Mega Mario. And second of all because this game gradually gets more difficult to remain challenging.

Final Words
8 / 10
This is a wonderful game that everyone should enjoy playing. (note for those who don't like the DS, this is a must play).

If he changed the sprites to nsmb, then my score would be 10, but I agree with you, and my score is 8.

Nothing, but in my opinion, the animation speed of the images is a bit to speedy so I gave it a 8. I love the NSMW sprite sheet.
