Great work as always, Vanny. My only complaint is that it's only limited to 4 numbers, but it's not a big deal. |

I really do like this sheet, I'm definitely using this for future projects. EDIT: I completely forgot to mention the new OC, "SlyceWinder"; it's actually pretty cool. I'm just wondering how they'd work compared to the other Thwomps. |

Quote (zacmario on May 16 2024, 5:47 PM) I like them, if you want people to use them in hacks I suggest making some of them 32 pixels wide instead of 16 though! I'm gonna be real honest. It took me a minute to realize you were talking about making it 32x wide. |

This is a great sheet; I'd definitely use this in future projects. My only issue is the ground looks odd to me, but I think it's because I'm used to the non-expanded ground tile. If you plan on creating more expanded tiles for SMB1, then I do wish you the best of luck. |

This is awesome! NSMBDS is really underrated in the custom gfx department (which is a shame, as it's my first DS game), so I'm glad it's getting more recognition. Can't wait to see more, my friend. |

Quote (CM30 on Apr 10 2022, 5:54 AM) Damn, this is really cool! It's a very unique theme for a SMB tileset, and you've done really well making it work in said style too. Certainly something that's going to be extremely useful for 8-bit hacks and fan games in future! Agreed. Really liking this style. |

Wrote a review; despite my frustration with this game, I tried to be as fair as possible. If it is too one-sided, let me know on how to improve it. |

Also, sorry if it isn't up to standards; I'm not much of a reviewer (let alone it being my first time reviewing a game). And n sixties, if you are reading this, don't give up. I see potential in something decent, or even great if you practice much more. Heck, I even have made terrible games in the early 2000s (most of them aren't uploaded on the internet (thank goodness), but do take it from me, they ain't good). Just take this as a learning experience, and try again next time. Good luck. |

Nice. Kinda sucked that we didn't really get unique Castle #3 sprites for Small Mario/Luigi (didn't they re-use the Riding Yoshi sprites, iirc?), but thank you Cursed for bringing something not-so-cursed.

It's an interesting take on the UFO object from SML within the other gamestyles. I especially like the SMW version. Also, I like the Alien-like Tileset used in the thumbnail; any chances we see that in the future? |

Quote (PROX on Mar 24 2022, 2:32 AM) Woah, Shikaternia is back? Yeah, they've been back for a while now; earlier this month, as a matter of fact. On Topic: It seems like we've gone full circle here (Donut Plains from SMK, which itself is based on SMW), which is very interesting. I'd definitely see this getting used for Choconilla Hacks. |

Quote (eliasisamazing on Mar 12 2022, 3:41 PM) there“s only one problem with dis, the mario and luigi mouths are background color did they ate a drill? or was all just a mistake? They are following the 4-color rule (3 colors + transparency), and the fact that Mario Bros. used a black background, so that may be why it looks strange here. |

This is a good rip, but it's missing the Boo that covers up the level progress bar (seen in Ghost Houses), and the post-game touchscreen backgrounds.

Quote (Luigiisthebest on Feb 4 2022, 1:42 AM) great sheet! but i do think there should be alternates for the back, and side, using the unused sprites from tcrf Yeah, you're right; completely forgot about that. I was planning on doing an update anyways, if I have the time I'll try to add it in (easier said than done considering I have like 10+ stuff that I'm working on..). |

Yeah, I'm going to have to agree with murphmario; the graphics look too similar for it to be considered coincidental (to me, anyways). Edit: It looks like that Cruise Elroy's sheet wasn't the only one that looks similar to this sheet, as Mariofan230 has swimming poses similar to that of this sheet. |
