My first submission to MFGG! Remember in SM64 where it was the only game that where Mario can throw 2 jabs and a kick? Well here is a very simple tutorial for you. Even includes proper walking without that confusing varable crap! No credit needed because this was VERY easy to make.

it says target applications gm5,gm6,and gm7, its only gm7..... [EDIT] also, its not that great any way, it really could have been done better...

It could have been done better if the image was set to 1 before the attack started, and when the animations ends it changes into the next if pressed the attack button.

also, you can only punch in one direction, but you didn't state that you were new to GM, if you are, then its a good first try... keep working on it, and it'll turn out good..

I think that was good. This is kinda confusing to me since i'm not great at gamemaker, but I think if you make a small amount of time in beetween making the objects for the attacks, you can't keep on pressing A to attack over and over again. If you waith a little bit, the attack will go much more smoothly. P.S: If that made no sense, please ignore this message.

Yeah, really. It wasn't that bad of a tutorial, and he was being honest when he said he was a bit of a beginner. Even if you didn't like his tutorial you didn't have to be a jerk about it. It was obviously good enoguh to be accepted in the site.
