Okay, so I deleted the key configuration file to reset the controls, and it appears that A is the key to use for choosing.

Ah, so this must be where early-2000s Mario fangames got most of their sound effects from! It looks like these were made in 2000, according to the creation date, making the rips even older than this site!

(And yes, the EXE is totally safe -- it's just an installer made with Clickteam's Install Maker.)

I like that TD even ripped the GameCube startup tune! I think I've heard drain.wav in Legend of the Hammer Warrior and the Yoshi vs. Windows remake.

Haha, yep. :)

Do you remember how development for the game went and what ideas you had planned until you scrapped it? If so, I'm especially interested in reading what you were planning to do with the Yoshiman level (the one that was left incomplete in the game, only accessible through a password) and if Yoshi would visit any more libs. (I know fireball3k made lots of libs back then, thanks to the Wayback Machine.)

Could you please be more specific on what the error message says? Exactly what file is missing, if specified?

I just played through the whole thing again... and I'm not sure why I did that.

This brings back a lot of memories, though. I remember that before I played this game, I would hear the Yoshi's Island castle song when I see that name and screenshot (and I still do today, kind of). Also, I like how the mugshot used for Yoshis is the Yoshi's Island level icon that has Yoshi on a falling rock--I just find that really amusing. :)

Haha! I like how his fireball shooting animation is a reference to Dragon Ball... or was it Street Fighter?

I think the problem with the nails is that they're placed on a rather detailed-looking block. They work on the semi-solid block platforms because those are more flat-looking, but here they look out of place. Maybe some shading will do the trick.

Aside from that, though, this looks great! Keep it up with the SMAS-style SMM stuff! :)

It's nice to see that you're still working on this! Since I haven't played the demo yet (I'd rather wait for the full version) and am rather curious, how far are you in the project?

Also, am I the only one who thought that yellow creature in the screenshot was a Poison Slug (from Commander Keen 4)?

Well, if you ever think that a certain game deserves (or doesn't) to be in the MFGG Hall of Fame, you can always try to do a review of it. Do be reasonable, though! :)

I think Shift is the key to use to confirm your choices on the menu.

Interesting idea; looks very nice!

Haha! I like the name!

Ah, it seems that you made it so that the background can loop properly both horizontally and vertically! Nice work!

It's amazing how one can seemingly make at least two different backgrounds by just changing the colors.

Haha, nice thumbnail! Great example too!

Interesting! Looks like they were going to use the original Fire Flower design and make those Goombas be stomped on.

Very nice! It seems to fit the style very well!

Hey, I recognize some of these MIDIs! I've heard them in fangames like Sacred Bells and Mario's Big Adventure. Some of the MIDIs sound good, by the way. :)

Whoa... just, whoa. This looks fantastic! I like how there's so much stuff in here!
