General Commentary and Game Overview
Sometimes, I would wait for a particular game to be released, and this would be one of them. The MFGG 10th Anniversary Time Capsule is a free history lesson that I would forever remember.

To put it short, this collection of games could be simply put as one of the best Mario Fan Games in creation. But, since there are eleven games in this collection, it would make much more sense in calling this "One of the Best 'Time Capsule' Collection of Games Ever."

Pros -Eleven games are included in this collection.
-Excellent intro by Thunder Dragon (Before the 'Game Selection' part of this game).
-Historical Significance for many of the games that are included in this collection.

Cons -Many of these games are not really that "polished."
-Controls are shaky on some of them.
-A couple are a little dull.

Impressions
Gameplay
9 / 10
This game acts like a collection of games than one whole huge game. There are 11 games in this collection, which means that there's going to be at least 6-8 hours worth of content for the entire game altogether, or about 1-3 hours if you just want to try them out one by one.

But before we get to my favorites in this collection, there are some "faults" that I would like to point out. First, a couple of the games have shaky controls, which means that Mario (or in one case, Sonic) would get stuck on a couple of walls and wouldn't advance further, even when falling off of them. That above fault made "Super Sonic Bros." frustrating to play for me. Second, some of the games that are on this collection didn't really interest me very much. The first three games on this collection weren't a thrill to go through, although the first two didn't have any very huge problems.

With those minor complaints out of the way, I would like to say that I really enjoyed some of the games' gameplay factors. For example, a game called "Wario Eats Everything" was a thrill to play, because its many minigame modes (Eat or Die was my favorite) were fun to play. The concept of eating everywhere was also a huge factor of why this game is fantastic.

Waligie 3 was another game that I enjoyed. I never played it for long, but I have to admit that it was one of the most interesting games in this collection.

Graphics
7 / 10
Every game that's featured on this collection has its own style of graphics. Some usually ranged from SMW-style graphics; others were a mix of SMB3 graphics and whatnot.

Honestly, most of the games on this collection don't really stand out in terms of a bland background or uninspiring character graphics. But at least they look alright.

But Waligie 3 was the one that had some of the most unique graphics in this game. Waligie and his relatives are modeled after real-life people (Title Screen) and existing video game faces (Gameplay and cutscenes), which makes part of this game very unique.

Sound
8 / 10
Again, we have 11 games to look at. Luigi's Quest has a soundtrack that's mostly based on that of a Medieval-like game (I was thinking of "Dingeons and Dragons" whenever I played this game. What a nice soundtrack.

And as for the rest of the clan with the exception of Waligie 3, most of the soundtrack is what I've already heard before, and although they weren't those of the best quality available, they were nice to listen to.

The game selection screen is treated with a MIDI representation of Super Mario Galaxy's Good Egg Galaxy theme, and I loved it very much.

Replay
10 / 10
11 games in a download is a nice package. There will be games that I can guarantee you that will be dull, but there will be others that will spark your love for Mario Fan Games harder than a speeding bullet. So go ahead, enjoy the games that you enjoy in this collection and you'll do just fine.

Final Words
9 / 10
Although this collection has a few flaws, this is definitely one of the best games (or "Time Capsule" Collections) I've ever played.

I'm actually kind of surprised you didn't mention more glitches and problems with the games, ha ha.

Also, no, the game selection screen is not a MIDI representation, it's the actual ripped song. How did you even figure it's a MIDI?
