General Commentary and Game Overview
Really cool, but the controls have some issues.
-Turning around is painful. Turning around in a shoe is ok though. -The key for pause isn't the same key for unpause. In all my years of gaming, I'm used to being able to press the same button to unpause as I did to pause. Something must be done about this! -Landing on the edge of a platform needs some work. I was right there, his foot should have reached the corner, but instead he fell. Also, whenever you collide with the side of a wall/object while jumping, your jump goes away and you fall. Then you die. This means you have to be super-extra careful about jumping like you DON'T in most other games (including the game that this is based off of) -Blarggs don't actually have to touch you for you to die, they just have to come within an approximate 9 pixel proximity of you to kill you. -Shift is a bad key for jumping. I find myself activating Sticky Keys every 2 minutes. Although, it's nice to be able to use X instead.
