General Commentary and Game Overview

The game is very VERY uninspired. The engine needs a little more work (especially in collision detection). The game itself seems as an SMB1 clone. A few neat elements were added though.....

Pros	-Somewhat solid. -A few neat things.
Cons	-There is a major glitch in Part 1 of 3-2 -Some tiles are placed not-so-good. -The graphics are bland. -Boring sounds and music. -Despite the name it lacks originality.

Impressions

Gameplay 6 / 10	A six because the game was playable with few problems. If you try to hit two blocks it doesn't work. It is possible to temporarily get stuck in the question blocks. There was a real stupid glitch in Part 1 of 3-2. You would get off the flag pole and walk off into infinity. Fortunately i had "cheated" or figured out F5 and F6 worked. In that case I started at 2-2 of the game. After that I moved on into the game. There a tips that you must read such as "Green dotted mushrooms are fake" and etc. Overall the entire game was easy. Bowser was just a simple joke! The entire game was like a watered down (but different) version of SMB1
Graphics 4 / 10	The graphics are smooth but tearing sometimes happens in full screen. Most of the graphics are from the SMB series. Some of the backgrounds were from NSMB but it didn't help much. The graphics were bland and dated. Despite most things were 16-bit bowser was 8 bit and when he died he turned into a spiny. Sadly some of Hello's other games SEEMS to look better than this despite they are comparable.
Sound 4 / 10	There was only 2 mp3's that I heard. The SMB Overworld and death theme. There were about 7 midi's that followed. The amount of sounds effects is below 10 I believe. The midi selection was bad and commonly used.
Replay 2 / 10	I doubt anybody will play this again. It's "long" and boring. Even the ending was lame. I had to say it was the best part but once I beat it, I felt like I accomplished nothing.

Final Words

Uninspired, boring, and bland. Fortunately this is a demo because alot of things can be done to improve this.
