This is a great sheet; I'd definitely use this in future projects.

My only issue is the ground looks odd to me, but I think it's because I'm used to the non-expanded ground tile.

If you plan on creating more expanded tiles for SMB1, then I do wish you the best of luck.

Ha, a fair assessment! This game probably won't stay on the mainsite forever, but I might keep it around a bit longer as we refine our HTML5 game development - and hosting.

I use the same button sound in a few of my games, including Career Fantasy and Satilla Composite.

Legend has it that you might actually be able to escape if you get lucky enough...

@littlelum Thanks for reporting this issue - and feel free to let me know if there's a good solution, whether in the GM game's settings or with some configuration option on the MFGG server. I've had a few hiccups with the music as well.

@Q-Nova When playing GM browser games, I've had the best results with Chrome. Though even Chrome has occasionally been finicky with inputs.

This looks awesome! I'm glad this sewer tileset is using a more obscure design, and something more different than the New Super Mario Bros design. I don't see these sewer decoration ideas very often, and is the poster of a random character?

I will be updating this submission shortly to allow for a Play in Browser feature, which has been recently added to MFGG! Hope everyone can enjoy this game online while on the site, this also works in mobile too (I hope). For now, you can also play the online build on GameJolt!

Note that I had to recompile the online build again due to having accidentally deleted it while cleaning up my Downloads folder.

Can you align the tileset groups and comments so they are on a 16x16 grid with a 1 pixel border like the tiles?
Right now they would need massive editing to just import this image as a tileset

Yeah there are bugs with waypoints but it's not a dealbreaker. I'll have a look at the third track to see if there are any waypoints that can be missed by falling off, currently there are issues with falling off tracks causing all kinds of mayhem. I need to re-do how Lakitu puts you back on the track I think.

As for drifting, I should easily be able to add both shoulder buttons as a drift button.

Also for anyone wondering, this game is LITERALLY just a spare-time venture, nothing serious at all so don't expect quick bug fixes and all that as I'm just doing this for fun a few minutes every week.

The ENTER key and mouse clicks sometimes fail to register. There are times where I had to click on a button two or three times before it finally decides to get itself together. I ran the game in browser, Brave to be specific. I've played a few other games in browser and they didn't have that issue, so I don't know what's going on here.
