This is actually a pretty neat art style change! Also, thanks. :)

Huh, yeah..... It's kind of rare to see Scratch games outside of Scratch. Considering other devs just "bash" it for being a "child language". I honestly don't see any issues using it other than the usual limitations. But as long as one actually takes the time to work on it, anything is possible. :)

Just a few comments.
- The Angry Sun looks........ more like a Diamond-like shape?
- The goombas seem to be missing some shading. Mainly at the head area. Probably intended.
- Big Bertha/Boss Bass seems...... odd. Maybe its head white thingy seems either a little thick, or too tall?

Otherwise, these are pretty great! :)

Umm....... How does climbing with P-Balloon work? You can't even climb regularly with P-Balloon to begin with. So alternate climb frames just wouldn't work anyway.

Otherwise, interesting sprites.

Not only that, but they are LESS detailed then in SMB3..... I think they based these sprites from the Mario Maker 2 SMB1 sprites. If they're going to be custom made anyway, they should be detailed as such.

The flat belly thing is just, wrong IMO. I know Nintendo did it that way in SMM2, but it's because they were trying to recreate the limits on sprite design. Though it is weird in SMM2, it's just as weird here without the detailed bellies.

Well... I mean, that's just what it does in Wario Land II...... Blame the creators of the game.

Interesting how people submit the same thing over and over again, but in a different sprite sheet order..... As I'm pretty sure these sprites have been ripped.... Somewhere down the lane.... ;)
Whether some frames got skipped, or some just missed. Either case, point still valid.

That's from the Mac version of Teaches Typing? Dang that looks really ugly! It's like they badly tried to upscale/reshade the DOS version.
No offense to the ripper. Nice sprite rips though. :)

Aw man I was already working on this

I don't see why this would stop you from making your own version. :O

How would that even work?

- Design the platform game engine
- Make interaction with castle and/or detonators.
- [Insert Something Here] will happen when player hits the castle, or jumps on the detonator.
- Move to the next scene.

Also, I'd like to point out this example as well.

Instead of even more animations, how about one makes a game out of Castle Calamity for once?

Luigi isn't wearing Green, for whatever reason. Even in SMM2 he wears green with the builder costume.

Meh....... This is mediocre at best.... Not even editor has its own music yet. Lot of sound seems to be absent.
The special FX like the particles are a nice touch, but prob just too much for a Mario game IMO.
Lava tiles don't even work correctly, and just act like solid platforms.
Conveyor belts only go in 1 direction, unless I missed something.
Middle mouse click would be a nice addition to get certain level objects without going through editor. But alas this is not the case.
It's REALLY hard to figure out how to create sub areas.

SO yea, just another mediocre sandbox Mario game.

So, MFGG is now taking Mega Man submissions? That's interesting, I suppose. With the other submissions like some Metroid stuff I've noticed, I wonder if MFGG will eventually become just "FGG".

This is really cool! Thanks! How do you do it by the way? whenever I try to draw something from a screenshot, it just looks weird and sometimes nothing close to the original.

Set a trailer on HD when given the option. Set the video to full screen. Also, it helps if your monitor can take higher resolutions & wide screen. That would be about as close as you can be able to get it to pixel mode if you wish to "redraw" the sprite from trailers.

I'll support any CT Fusion users when/where possible (I'm a CTF user myself), though this one seems questionable.
- If you give the user to change the controls, it should be for EVERY command. One of the button to fire, seems to always be Ctrl.
- Pressing Shift will always make him say "Yahoo" regardless of changed controls.

Just to avoid any confusion, these sprites aren't Mega Man based. It just so happens my avatar, and the background of the preview thumbnail is from Mega Man. The sprite sheet is edited from Cheep Cheep from Super Mario Bros 3, I believe.

Yea but I can't post those sprite sheets here because this is a Mario Fan games site. Try looking around on MegaMan fan sites for those. :)

This is awesome! Would it be alright if I give the big one sunglasses in my fan game so it'll look like Bubba from Mario 64?

I can try to see if I can make a sprite of my own, considering its a little harder, different than just a goggles/sunglasses swap.

I also have a Boss Bass/Cheep Chomp/Big Bertha in this exact style in the submissions queue (as of this message). If it gets accepted, I might see if I can do a sunglasses Bubba variant if necessary. The last sprite I did of it sort of looked ugly, but I got slightly better at sprites. So, we'll see. :)

It's not MegaMan style Per-se. It's just my Avatar (based on my Mii) that is MegaMan style. The background on the preview is also MegaMan, but meh, I couldn't find any other backgrounds at the time.

It's actually an edit of the SMB3 Cheep Cheep, using some NES palettes I selected.
