General Commentary and Game Overview
Gameboy 4-in-1 is a collection of four minigames, and the sequel to Gameboy 3-in-1. This game is a big improvement over its predecessor.

Pros - Minigames have variety
- Good presentation
- Short, entertaining cutscenes before each game

Cons - Games get boring after a while
- No unlockables
- Most of the games are incredibly easy

Impressions
Gameplay
7 / 10
As the title implies, this fangame consists of four minigames, each with their own style of gameplay. The minigames themselves are good, and its nice that there are cutscenes that give the games their own stories. For the most part though, the games are incredibly easy once you figure out a pattern. The shark minigame was definitely my favorite, as it was the most fast paced and fun. The memory game is good at first, but quickly gets boring. The block minigame also gets boring, as there is a pattern you can find and exploit to make the game much easier. The shell jumping minigame is fun, but it is made difficult due to the frequency that you bounce above the screen, and your falling speed (very fast). The games are polished with no bugs, and all of the games are different from each other, which is what a minigame collection should do. The main problem is that the games get boring too quickly.

Graphics
8 / 10
Playing this game is basically like playing Mario Party Advance, as those graphics are used, and the screen resolution is that of a gameboy. Some people may not like the small screen size, but it is forgivable, because the gameboy resolution is what this game was going for. The screen size and the gameboy around the playing screen help add to the presentation.

Sound
7 / 10
The game uses MIDIs, but they are mostly from non-Mario games, which is nice. The music used also fits the minigames well. I really liked the fast paced version of the Jolly Roger Bay theme.

Replay
4 / 10
After a while, the games do get boring, and since there aren't any hidden extras, the replay value suffers.

Final Words
7 / 10
A great collection of minigames that is also presented well. Definitely a good time waster, for a little while.
