General Commentary and Game Overview
The All-Star Quest is a fun, though short, game that blows your standard Mario clone out of the water.

Pros Several playable characters
Good engine
Feels polished
Nice intro

Cons No ending!?
Short
A few small but annoying glitches

Gameplay
9 / 10
In the All-Star quest, you can play as four different characters, each with his own unique abilities and attributes. There are quite a few moves and the engine is almost glitch-free. The only glitches I found were in the Bowser battle. You can get stuck on edge of a wall with Yoshi (and Bowser kills you mercilessly) and the blue bombs do not hurt Bowser if the bounce off a wall and hit him (though it plays the animation).

Graphics
8 / 10
The animations are nice and mostly coherent. But Wario and some miscellaneous objects do not match the graphics scheme. There are some nice effects like parallax scrolling.

Sound
8 / 10
Music from the Mario series and the Smash Bros. series. It worked pretty well. There was a small glitch with the music on Rock Spire Island.

Replay
7 / 10
I played the first version of this game and enjoyed it, and I enjoyed it well the second time. There are some games in the arcade but I assume they are not functional because I couldn't find I way to play them.

Final Words
8 / 10
This is an enjoyable and even challenging (at times) game that you will be happy you played.
