General Commentary and Game Overview
Well, we have a seriously random game before us. If you haven't played before, nothing is predictable, and everything is weird. In fact, playing through the 20th time, it'd still be weird. All in all, though, this is a really great game, not one to be missed. Plus, they broke the rules: Mario is speaking!

Pros Pretty much everything.

Cons Pretty much nothing.

Impressions
Gameplay
9 / 10
Let's see, it has nearly every genre of game in one sweet little package. Mario is driving a tank, wakes up, wakes up again, gets chased, wakes up again, and apparently he speaks 1337 in horrible voiceovers. And that sets the tone of the game: just plain weird. It gets really slow during Lovely Battle, but otherwise, it's pretty solid.

Graphics
10 / 10
Excellent! They use M&L graphics with other graphics to make a solid looking (if weird-looking) game. They do use Mario graphics, some custom, and some just plain weird-looking.

Sound
10 / 10
Much of the music isn't Mario, but actually Sonic. I found at least 5 Sonic tracks, from Keyed Up, the mansion scene, and even a track from the Japaneese Sonic CD! It isn't bad though. Hardly any music is from Mario, and they even stretched out to grab a track from Soul Calibur 2! The effects are really weird though. The voiceovers are really bad, but that just makes it funnier. Oh, and if you hated the scream from Melatonin, I'd mute the game until the Lovely Battle. More voiceovers are just supposed to be horrible and/or weird, from Rub Rabbit Leader's "Holy toledo", to Mario's insane "OH NOES! TEH CITY ARE ON FIAR!"

Replay
10 / 10
Ecxellent. The games weirdness is enough to draw anyone back for another round, and when Side B comes out, we'll have even more fun to enjoy.

Final Words
10 / 10
In a world where entire paragraphs worth of dialouge is compacted into "A DOOTLE DATADOE", in a world where there are totally original ideas, in a world with a really weird soundtrack, the unthinkable has happened. Mario got lines!
