Wick The Hot Foot (v1.2)
preview
By: Yakibomb
Made for MFGG's Game Jam, theme "Too Much Water", hosted by Mors.
---------------------

You play as a living flame--Wick, a "Hot Foot" (an enemy from Super Mario Bros. 3)--that was birthed from flowing magma in this platforming adventure to save your ancestor's altars from the evil Rainmaker, Cloudjihn.

Control Instructions are built into the game-play.

NOTE: This does create an external save file, in the directory of the game. "The Games Factory 1" is outdated and is known to crash, so if it does crash, simply reboot the game and jump into the level select to choose the newest level.
---------------------

To Install: Just click the .exe file with the external ".gam" file in the same folder, and it'll run!

CNCS32.dll needs to be in the same folder for some computers. It was found on MFGG.

---------------------

Enjoy "The Games Factory 1" from 1996, in 2020!!

---------------------

Changelog: v1.2 fixes collisions (i.e. falling through floors, jumping up through platforms) and adds a QoL fix to Cloudjihn.
Completion: Full Game Genre: Platform
Franchise: Mario

Just played this. While very short, I had fun with it. One bug I found is that the water drops (2nd level) may eventually stop appearing until you switch rooms. Happened to me twice.

I like that you're using an old tool to make your games! Compared to what we have now, TGF1 is kinda limited, so it's cool to see how someone gets around those limits! :) It's also very nostalgic!

I'm pretty impressed by what I saw in your Tetris Attack RPG project! :) I do hope that you'll find a good direction for that game. :)

Hey! Thanks Q-Nova for playing, and I'm glad you have some fun.

I appreciate the mention of my TA:RPG project! That makes me happy. :)
