Another good update. With a great amount of nice stuff!
And, by the way, happy Independence Day (7/4) to you who are from the United States!

The reason why he made it like that so it will replicate Nintendo's title screen.

If you DO know why he intended to put Press Start then you shouldn't have written that comment at all.

"Press Start"?! Not all everybody uses controllers, right?

What is wrong with that...
like Syr said: START = Enter.

By the way, GameMaker: Studio - Standard is now completely free, after a decision made during those promotions YoYo made for a chance to get GM:SS for free (And I didn't get the chance, *sigh*). However...
...
...
...
...like in GameMaker 8.1 Lite, there will be a watermark saying "This game has been created with GameMaker Studio blah blah blah try it now blah blah blah" for people who get the software freely, and there is no Mac exporting. Also you need to register the software, using an email address you use actively.
Who bought GM:Studio legitimately will still keep Mac exporting, watermark-less games, and further exporting options that were bought later.

If you still want to download:

A nice game, but I had to quit early because it went to 140MB of used RAM in few minutes. Also I suggest you should change the game priority to Normal, instead of having it set to High.

Looks pretty nice! However, on the giant Question Mark Block, the eyes from the Turn Block are still there. Is that intentional, or do you plan on removing that?

Actually the original SMW had the Question Block with that Flip Block-y appearance: http://tinyurl.com/qy9f34o

I downloaded it, but I keep getting this error.

ERROR in

Error defining an external function

Very likely that you ran the game directly from the ZIP.

The E3 Miiverse community is was cluttered with posts mainly containing hype for Splatoon. Plus other games... After all it was an amazing E3. Looking forward (REALLY forward) to SSB4 and play it up to the end.

By the way, the E3 community is now gone for good. See ya on 2015!

I see literally no animation in that thumbnail.

I forgot to mention you can see animated PNGs only with browsers that support it, either natively (Firefox AFAIK) or through a plug-in (Chrome, with the APNG extension). Other browsers like IE display these images as static.

I ask again: How are you making these?

Open paint. Get a tileset. Prepare your skills. Resize the tileset to a size you want, commonly 2x, and then start smoothing out using the pencil tool. Practice will eventually lead you making good hi-res tileset.

The giant grass was already made by Valtteri and me, right? Yours is quite different. (Also why is the thumbnail animated?!?)

I am planning to do slopes ._. done
Also the thumb is an animated PNG.
