Wanted to try a 8-bit style mario tileset. What theme should I try next, now that the obligatory grass land theme is done?

I really like this sheet! It's kinda a mix of SMB1, SMAS SMB1, and SML2 and it came out really nicely!

I think you could try Airship or Ghost House.
