General Commentary and Game Overview
Mario Learns About Colors is a Minigame where Mario has no Color to him, and you need to use the ! Blocks to Paint him Different Colors. This is a nice Game with a Nice Concept, and pretty educational to those who don't know about Colors.

Pros Has a Nice Concept
No Glitches as Far as I can see
Pretty Educational
Graphics and Sounds go good with the Game

Cons Rather Difficult at Times, especially in the Castles
Level Select would've been a good Unlockable
Overused Graphics and Sounds
Little Replay Value

Gameplay
8 / 10
He is able to Pass through the Blocks that are his Color, but the other Blocks act as Solid Blocks to him. You can become Red, Blue, Yellow, Orange, Green, Purple, or Colorless. Hitting a Blank Block that looks Clearish Will drain the Color out of him. Hitting a Red, Blue, or Yellow ! Block will turn him that Color. If you hit a ! Block while you are already a Different Color will make you a mix of your Current Color and the Color of the the ! Block you hit. For example, mixing Red and Yellow will make you Orange. It has a Nice Concept and Plays Smoothly, but is rather Difficult at Times. A Level Select would be a Good Unlockable for this game.

Graphics
8 / 10
Nice Graphics, they go great with the Game. Only downside is that they're the overused ones.

Sound
6 / 10
Pretty good Sounds and Music, but again, they're the Overused ones. The Music seems slightly messed up in my opinion, as if it was overcompressed.

Replay
5 / 10
Not very Good Replay Value, it could've had a Timer to see how long you took to complete it, and have you try to improve your Time.

Final Words
6 / 10
Great Game, but could've been improved in every area.

The game is supposed to be very difficult. I think you may be thinking of the music that plays during the cake galaxy in SMG when you say it is "overcompressed". This music is from SMB3.

I know it's supposed to be hard, but it is much more difficult in some Levels than others. And by Overcompressed, I do mean the Cake Galaxy Music, it sounds a little Whiny on my Computer, like it's too High Pitched for my Speakers. XD
