Super Mario Bros. Wonderland 1987

Super Mario Bros. Wonderland 1987 (also known as Wonderland 87), is a fan game that portrays Super Mario Bros. Wonder in a different way. It's as if the game was released around 1987 after SMB Lost Levels and before Super Mario Bros. 3. The story is completely different from the original game.

Story:
Blue Bowser (Bowser's brother who only appears in the Lost Levels) is making a big mess in the Flower Kingdom. He wants to be as mean as Bowser having a kingdom just for him. Next to the big villain is Blue Bowser Jr. his son and together they try to stop the Mario Brothers from proceeding. The fan game contains secret worlds if you collect all the Wonder Seeds in all the worlds.

In addition to portraying SMB Wonder in a different way, this project is also a recreation of the beta version of another project I'm working on, "Super Mario Wonderland". I used the same source to create this (also with Hello Engine). Since the concepts were already ready, this resulted in a work of 1 month and 16 days to complete 100% the Wonderland 87 project.

11/12/24	(Rev 6) Fixed softlocks, fixed a 1up bug at 2-2, another bug that made it impossible to collect a Wonder Seed in the first level of world 5 after losing a life, more classic and new sound effects + added secret code on the title screen.

I've been following your YouTube Channel for a while now, so it's cool to see one of your games pop up on here. Hope some of your other projects get posted here when you finish them! I lost all my lives on 2-3, but I'm loving it so far. A great retro take on Mario Wonder. Nice job on this!

It was a job that, even though it took a short time, required a lot of dedication. I had to recreate some of the music and sound effects myself. Only I worked on everything involving the Wonderland 87. And also I decided to give Bowser's brother a chance to be a main villain in the Mario universe.
