General Commentary and Game Overview
This game sent off a few warning bells in the beginning. I was expecting a horrible Mario shooter that turned out about as good as all the flash movies like it did - horrible. I was pleasently suprised to see that, while gameplay was a wee bit stale, Mariodoom was an enjoyable game overall.

Pros + While the idea seems overused, it was fun
+ Good engine
+ Replay value

Cons - Music went sour after a bit
- Sprite choice could be better

Impressions
Gameplay
7 / 10
The gameplay was fun. I'd would call it repetitive, but I was somehow wrapped up in this for a good 45 minutes before I forced myself to close out the window. It's a basic shoot-em-up, but this basic idea seems to suffice.

Graphics
5 / 10
The graphics were not the best, to say the least. While they don't clash horribly, they certainly to not match. The blood is a little too bright for my taste as well.

Sound
4 / 10
There were some nice sound effects, most of which have understandly never been heard in a Mario game before. The music got pretty annoying after a while.

Replay
7 / 10
There are varrying difficulty settings to choose from. I only played the easiest setting, so I cannot tell you how difficult it actually gets. With that said, I think it would be entertaining to go back to harder levels (even if just to see how bloody it gets).

Final Words
6 / 10
Mariodoom has a simple premise and a lot of action. It lacks in a few areas (namely, sound and graphics), but it's a nice game overall.

Yup. Actually... are there more weapons than just the default gun?

I guess if there is, it makes sense that I didn't see them. I just now realized you made this game.

Use number keys (not numbad) to change weapon.
0 = pistol
1 = shotgun
2 = chaingun
3 = rocket launcher
4 = super shotgun (<= not sure is this in)

There is a weapon for number 5
I think it's a rifle with a Doom 3 pistol sound
