General Commentary and Game Overview
When I first saw this game, I thought it would be a clone of Super Mario Bros. USA for the NES. Well, I was WRONG. Toad Strikes Back is an amazing Mario fangame that is easy to learn, but hard to master.

Pros + Toad
+ Great music
+ Lovely gameplay
+ Easy to learn
+ Interesting bosses
+ Additional challenges (Mushroom Medals)
+ Too many more to list

Cons - A few minor glitches, although they weren't game breaking.

Impressions
Gameplay
10 / 10
You play as Toad, a young Mushroom citizen, to save the inhabitants of Mushroom Kingdom from Kamek, who is stealing the starspheres for the resurrection of King Bowser Koopa.

The game is simple. Ge t to the end of the stage without dying. Luckily, there are many powerups, like the Fire Flower, Mario's Golden hammer, the green Yoshi, and the flying indigo Yoshi. No two stages are alike. Every single stage is different and feels fresh.

Graphics
10 / 10
The graphics are stunning. Wether it was Toad collecting a Starsphere, to killing Wart, it was awesome.

Sound
10 / 10
The MIDIs are very well remixed, and it was intereesting hearing it.

Replay
10 / 10
Collecting the Mushroom Medals was a worthwhile challenge.

Final Words
10 / 10
Toad Strikes Back is an incredibly awesome fangame. It feels new and fresh, and will inspire many MFGGers.

Did you write this review in honor of MFGG's tenth anniversary? Because TSB is often considered the best game on MFGG.
