General Commentary and Game Overview
An interesting concept, to say the least. Is this minigame the kind of game you want to spend boredom time on, or should you just skip this?

Pros Nice graphics
Fun concept
Nice replay value
Challenging yet easy, so any player can enjoy it

Cons A little glitchy
Engine can be kind of funky

Gameplay
9 / 10
I was skeptical when I started playing. It didn't sound like a very good game. But I was very mistaken. The concept is to avoid enemies while you wait for a mushroom which lets you smash the DS for points. It's surprisingly entertaining, and can be a good stress reliever. Dodging the enemies will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat, while smashing is a lot of fun. The more holes you smash, however, the more obstructions and distractions there are, so it gets harder along the way, which is just how it should be.

Graphics
9 / 10
The graphics are very nice in the game. The background and Mario are from New Super Mario Bros, which looks great in a fangame. The enemies clash a little, though, because they are mainly Super Mario World sprites. The special effects are nice, though, making up for that. For example, if you smash a lot of holes, the screen will quickly become "snowed" out. This can also be a gameplay aspect.

Sound
8 / 10
The sound isn't very memorable, to say the least, but it works. There isn't much to say. The music is quite fitting with the game.

Replay
9 / 10
This is a minigame you'll be playing over and over. It takes skill to get a high score, and it can be more exciting than some full platform games on the site! An amazing time-waster.

Final Words
9 / 10
You're looking at one of the best minigames on MFGG here. A lot of replay, good graphics, and it's just plain fun.
