I bet this came out of nowhere.
.feat, upgrading system. There are a lot of buggs, Im aware of most of them but still let me know if you find anything weird.
Also, tell me if you got the easter egg. It has a 0,01% chance of happening (out of a 100).
Oh yeah, if you want to see the secret beta version tell me.
Controls:
Left, Right key's to move
Up key to check/interact with objects
A key to vacuum
S key to use your flashligt(flashband)
-
Oh yeah, I made the first boss optional because it's hard as grashoppers if you don't know what to do. (You make him do the charge thing so he runs into the wall, then you suck up one of the rocks he can throw and shoot it back on him. Takes 3 hits.)

You don't make a game just to expect "awesome!" or "did you make this awesome thing?" from the downloaders.

I hope you're being sarcastic on that regard.

That comment was a bad idea ^

Hmm...
This game does have a lot of bugs.
1. I can't continue, when I use S to stun 3 ghosts in the 4th room I think. It was 3 ghosts at once, 2 normal ones and 1 green. What happens is that it gives me an error every time I use S in the room. And it closes the game.
2. Gives the same kind of error when I open certain things with up arrow. Such as the first 2 objects which can be opened in the first room.
I use Windows 8.1 64 bit, if that matters... or are these errors from the game itself?
Edit: Great... now it gave me an error right before the boss, I think. It was underground, and I pulled a lever, then I went back and it stopped working when I was near this thing that had glowing eyes in the dark. Stupid errors...

Edit 2: I ran it in compatibility mode for Windows XP Service Pack 3, and it only fixed some of the problems, and not the last one I got in the sewers.

It's definetly because of Windows 8. I tried those out on Windows 7 (a.k.a. the best one) and it didn't happen.

I'm just really impressed with this game, compared to the other Luigi's Mansion games here on this site. I wish I could help in development of this game if you need it. Just wow! =)

I see potential, as this is a great attempt at a Luigi's Mansion game. You can see the effort in this game with the environment and content.

Yeah, there is potential, which is a very good thing. This game isn't awful, but, to tell you the truth, it really isn't close to the best game on MFGG (but it definitely isn't close to the worst...). The gameplay isn't really anything great and the graphics aren't really appealing at all(and just because they are custom doesn't mean they are good, even though it does show effort).

A little suggestion to the author: I think if the you joined the forums so we could help you out a bit, this game could be really good (considering the effort put into it).

I don't know why but I found that funny. But really, Im glad that you're honest and stuff. The game is in a really weird state currently. So somehow I get what you mean about your quote there.

I think you'll understand more from it when my review comes out of the queue

Yes, Windows 8 is most likely to run into problems with most Game Maker games (including this one), so watch your back.
