Easter Update

Happy Easter everyone! We're celebrating* by making MFGG a slightly safer place using TLS encryption. I could use a bad stock photo to illustrate my point, but I shall refrain. Every part of MFGG - the mainsite, forums, and wiki - should now be using the HTTPS standard, which means you'll see a little green padlock next to the URL in your browser. The forums hotlink to a lot of images hosted off-site, so the padlock might not appear when you're browsing the forums.

After implementing TLS encryption, we briefly experienced a couple of bugs that prevented people from accessing games, sprites, and other resources on the mainsite, but this problem has been resolved. If you experience any further difficulties, please let me know.

We'll be promoting a new QC person in the very near future, so I'll give the new person the honor of making an update with actual update-y stuff inside.

* Actually, Easter doesn't have anything to do with TLS. But that's OK.

I encountered a little issue with pages on the wiki, said pages will lead to a error.

The also mainsite doesn't have the padlock all the time. It's not a huge deal imo, though.

Mfgg feels more professional now which is good. Https is a sign of trust.

Congrats to the new Quality Control member! Hope he'll do good at his job (And not accept things like Super Mario """""Hard""""" Game).

Also, I have a small suggestion. I'd love if the mainsite comments became more like the ones on The Spriters Resource with the ability to have avatars and such.

Actually, the idea of having avatars here isn't a bad idea.

Yeah. The mainsite comments look really dated and unappealing, so having avatars would spice things up a bit.

In my opinion, the current layout isn't so bad; however, adding avatars wouldn't hurt.
