General Commentary and Game Overview
4 Eyes used to be a notable contributor back in the day on MFGG. While his activity has all but dwindled, some of his works still shines on as innovative in the fangame scene from yesteryear. Sure, it would need a lot of polishing to hold its own today, but back then this was very impressive stuff!

Pros Includes tons of Mario features; something that wasn't commonplace back then
Lots of effort was put into this
Nice graphics (specifically for its time)

Cons Still a somewhat buggy engine
Only a demo, even after all these years
It's easy to get stuck in things

Impressions
Gameplay
5 / 10
The gameplay is pretty much your standard Mario stuff, which as I've pointed out earlier, wasn't quite the norm back then. However, this does come at a cost: it was very obviously made in TGF. The static engine has multiple problems and it's very easy to get stuck in places and other objects. While this isn't too prevalent, it's noticeable, and it really ruins the appeal of it nowadays. Alas, time is sometimes cruel to the most innocent of things...

Graphics
6 / 10
About as basic and simple as you can get. Super Mario Bros. 3 graphics here, SMW tiles there, it's as plain as it gets. It's not bad at all, and it meshes decently, but it does show it's age a bit because of this. The palettes of the graphics (being ripped from a long time ago) very obviously show that this was from a while back. Otherwise, it's nothing truly horrible or amazing; it works, and that's all that matters.

Sound
6 / 10
I can't comment much on the sounds. They work and they hold their own for the time. It's nothing special at all, though.

Replay
4 / 10
Well, it's a demo. Normally, I'd rate it on how much fun it gave me for the time being until a new version is released. Unfortunately, this game and it's creator have been long gone from ever returning, so I can honestly say as of now that this isn't really worth replaying.

Final Words
7 / 10
Definitely not a bad game for it's time, as most would expect. It's very bland, but back then it had all the basics a Mario game needed, and that on its own was revolutionary.
