General Commentary and Game Overview
For a Fangame from all the back to 2003, this game is quite impressive for the time of it's creation. It is actually the first Mario Fangame, (That I know of.) to contain all the basic Mario Platform elements. It has ? Blocks, Bricks, Enemies, Pipes, pretty much very essential of SMB platforming. However, it does contain a few flaws, mostly the faults of the TGF platform engine.

Pros -Contains basic Mario elements.
-Working Koopa engine.
-Customized TGF window menu, making it easier to navigate.

Cons -Glitchy Platform Movement.
-Some sounds missing.
-Strange Death Sequence

Gameplay
6 / 10
The gameplay was more good then poor.
Mario could hit item blocks to collect coins and shrooms, and smash bricks for points. There has been a mistake for this, probably the events set for Mario hitting the blocks. The creator set it like this:
Collision between Mario and Block,
Mario animation Jumping is playing:
Block gets hit.
Because of this, Mario can smash the blocks by jumping into it by the side AND below, rather then just below. Of course, this was not supposed to happen.
When Mario walks into a pipe and tries to jump over it, Mario will collide with the edge of the pipe, causing him to stop and fall back onto the ground.
Mario can successfully jump off Goombas and Koopas, no problems with it.
There's also various TGF platform problems. Mario can stick to ceilings when SHIFT is held, until you move or release the key. There is precise collision checking, meaning Mario can stand in the edges of the ground.
When Mario dies, no sound effect is played, and Mario floating up slowing and suddenly disappears, which makes absolutely no sense what-so-ever. And, when you touch the door of the Castle, the game ends, and the window closes, rather then a end of demo screen.

Graphics
9 / 10
All the graphics are from Super Mario All Stars + World. Mario and the Goombas are from SMB3, the Tileset is from SMW, and the Koopa and Castle is from SMB1. The Blocks are also from SMB3, and the Springs are from SMB1 as well.
They all fit together nicely, and were not overused when this was made.

Sound
4 / 10
Some sounds are here, but many are missing. Jumping, Mushrooms appearing, and level clear is missing. The only music track is a Mario Midi that was overused since it was first composed.

Replay
2 / 10
Not so much.
There is only 1 level, a short one, to be exact. Unless you want some classic 1 level Mario action, you'll play once and not come back.

Final Words
6 / 10
Mario PC was an average platformer. It is fun and enjoyable, but it's flaws have to bring the score down.
