@KirbyLover2048 Hmm, these are actually the unused pipe connector blocks you're referring to. The 16x16 version is actually in the sheet.

King Bill takes more than one SNES game screen, it's just huge.

I believe you're correct about that. What if it appears in SMA4? 2big2fit
Then I guess it would be used for fangames instead!

you're thinking of asdfghjk.
he and Ian aren't related, aside from reregs

Maybe I should say "random garbled letters" instead. If that is asdfghjk, that would be "QWERTY keyboard-based garbled letters". If that is longer than that and the comments are similar to Ian's, then that would be a LooneyTunerIan dupe.

If Ian would say "Can you make SMB3 or SMW?" then asdfghjk was once nicknamed "Captain Obvious" because he said things like "HylianDev deleted Spoopy Maryo". Now we should tell TheTwelfthRocket to use the Scientific Method for determining a LooneyTunerIan dupe...

EDIT: From reading the article, asdfghjk has similar attributes to Ian. I believe the former doesn't join MFGG anymore probably due to frustration, and the latter is putting up immature moments and vandalism twists to the MFGG forums and the wiki, respectively. Makes more sense, right?

Well we already know that giant shoes let Mario ground-pound, but it's hard to tell how many of these Mario can even wear, let alone have a different mechanic.

I have an idea: Lakitu's shoe would make Mario fly, like in SMBX! The red shoes would be Podoboo's Shoe, it is fireproof and lets Mario walk on lava. BUT he will still take damage from fireballs. If we have pipe shoes, then it can deflect some projectiles (like the Rocky Wrench's wrench) and make the bro who wears it resistant to fireballs. If a projectile hits the top of the pipe or an enemy collides with it, the bro would lose the Pipe Shoe!

And yet your Bowser Jr. doesn't look much better. Super Mario World is an art style that's kind of supposed to be terrible, from what I've seen of the game.

You could have been wrong there - it's actually because Bowser Jr. in the style of SMW in Super Mario Maker uses a palette which doesn't look like the original palette used in SMW. Actually, SMW is an easy set of sprites and tilesets I can use in my comics - and they usually match with Yoshi's Island - because they are both cartoonish.

"which is funny in an ironic way because P-Switch Predicament is more of a fangame duplicate than Revenge of the Walrus ever was."

Seems you took the joke the wrong way; the number of the fangame duplicate happens to be the submission number of Revenge of the Walrus

Yes, he has his point. Remember Attack of the Fangamers? There are also fangames being invaded by the plumber of the Mushroom Kingdom...(like the Miraculous Boss Battle)

Speaking of the submission number, call in VinnyVideo, STAT!

Can you make the same for SNES/N64/GameCube/Wii/Wii U/NX?
oh and good job btw :3

SNES versions are been worked on by REDBIRD030. Speaking of the other consoles aside from SNES, those are mostly models. Ouch!

This is great I just have two problems
1. My controls won't work so I have to use space and ctrl
2. just something I don't like about modern Mario games, did you have to make it that we die if we lose to lakitu? why cant we simple just retry the stage or something.

For the case of Question #2, it should have been a Too Bad... screen like in Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam. Then the player will be given options to restart the quest/race or quit!

Can you do an SNES version?

Ahh Ember, you can search up for 16-bit spriting tutorials to get things straight. Then you can even make them into 16-bit sprites! A SMAS-SMB3 palette is available on the Internet, if you wanna get started.

no way, looneytunerian

Quote (TheTwelfthRocket on Apr 14 2016, 3:57 AM)
um, no. the reason i called him LTian is because he asked for a 16-bit version

got it?

NOTE TO THETWELFTHROCKET: What's the point of logic there if you thought this guy was LooneyTunerIan? To make a hypothesis you must do the following:
1. Observe.
2. Research.
3. Hypothesize.
4. Test.
5. Analyze.
6. Conclude.

No offense, but there wasn't enough research to conclude that this guy is Ian. Usually Ian makes accounts with garbled letters and numbers as usernames but for the case of Ember, this is not an Ian, just as Jaden1291 is a Question block-ian.

Anyway, enemies in shoes? This is one of the weirdest ideas you got - I wonder what happens if Mario wears them.

He's not a looneytunerian when someone thinks of SMM they think of the SMB, SMB3 and SMW styles... If the creator just said Super Mario Bros styled then he'd be a looneytunerian.

Obviously, this sheet is made for Super Mario Maker, and it's in SMB style. And when he is asking for SMB3 and SMW styled versions, (and more tilesets and more enemies), I detect a LooneyTunerIan there. Anyway, I was able to report the matter to VinnyVideo, who was able to point out garbled username dupes by Ian.

Now, back on topic!

Hyper Boos are green Boos. They are supposedly enhanced by the dimenswitching ring, so it makes sense for them to look different in some way. Afaik, nobody has complained that Polter looks too much like a regular Boo.

*calls on the phone* Langton...

@nextnathan Speaking of the sheets you linked, I guess it's not necessary to add the Sparks in, as you can find lots of SMB2 enemy rips around MFGG.

Personally, i think they look pretty good, although the corner pipes look kind of odd.

I understand you, although I think another idea would be possibly extending the desert pipes.

I started extending the desert maze pipes before, but I put it on hiatus because I thought it wouldn't look as good. I'll check into it tomorrow.

EDIT: I found the lost desert maze pipes WIP tileset I was making.
EDIT 2: I decided not to send the sprite sheet's sneak peek as it's been worked on so fast, almost many tiles have been completed!
EDIT 3: If you're wondering, the Extended Desert Maze Pipes tileset is released! However, an update will be swooshing in to give you more tiles for the giant desert pipes! (including corners and the missing broken giant pipe tiles)

Needs SMB3 and SMW.

A user with odd letters acting like LooneyTunerIan. Say what now? O.o
Anyways, for those who wanna use the original palette (in the SMB game, not Super Mario Maker), there's a palette available everywhere. Use that to your advantage. For the sake of this sheet, I say it's NICE WORK!

What you are thinking of are direct engine copies.
For example, if you were to use Hello Engine, and only used the level editor to make a game with it,
You would likely have your game poorly criticized.

Recreating a game is another story:
You are still creating the engine from the ground-up, and programming all the features yourself. although you are using an existing game as a template, all the work is still done by you.

Good point, Nite. You saved the day again.

I still remember this game before. I wanna look back at it.
Also, the graphics are not customizable - only SMBX can customize graphics, toadcake. In addition to this, a Wii U game called "Super Mario Maker" has the similar functions as this "Game Master" or whatever you call it, and you can even change the graphics there (read: you can change between SMB, SMB3, SMW, and NSMBU) (note: no world map yet)

And I think Hello doesn't update this game anymore. Or was it just me?
