You VS Boo

Hey, this is my game for the Minigame Compitition 18 and it's a NSMB styled remake of "You vs Boo" of Super Mario Bros Deluxe. What do you need to do? Simple finish the level before boo does. Simple? It depends, there are 4 difficulty levels. In each level boo is faster and there are blocks that prevent you from passing the level. BUT you can also choose your starting status at the beginning of the level. You can be small, normal or MEGA MARIO!! You score points by finishing fast, at a high difficulty, and you get extra points for breaking blocks, taking mushrooms, etc. Controls: Left and right: Move Up: Jump Menu's: Click with the mouse (DS Feature). You can also do a walljump and a groundpound, and a triple jump but if you want the explanation, you click "Help" in the start menu ;-) Have fun. (PS this is only a demo with 4 levels, I had almost no time to work on this game, but I like the idea and I really want to add some more levels once.)

Kiddiecat	This game is rated too high. It has a lot of functionality problems/glitches. Maybe it was the best when it came out, but it's only ok now. Part of the reason I'm rating it low is because of all the glitches. If they'd been cleared up back when this was such a popular game, it wouldn't be an issue today and I would have really enjoyed this game. It's still worth trying, and ...maaaaybe keeping, but there are a lot of functionality problems, and today there's a lot of better games at MFGG that are much more deserving of a 10 now.	2 / 10

gorsal	I'll give a 9, because this game is amazing, but has some flaws here and there. But, I reccomend you to play this, as this game is so much fun!	9 / 10

Yoshu	You VS. Boo is an instant classic. Quite fun, and with several different levels, difficulties, and forms of Mario to play as, You VS. Boo provides challenge, fun, and a new way to race against the clock.	10 / 10
soup_is_money	Overall, this is a terrific effort, whioch really worked out well. Even though this game is a bit lacking, I know a cool, better version will come out, great game!	9 / 10
Blab	Wow. This game has one of the greatest engines I've seen, nice visuals, great remixed Mario tunes, an incredible amount of replay value, and it's just fun. This is probably the best demo for any game on MFGG. I highly suggest that you download this!	10 / 10
Hatman	Despite this game's glitches, it's still an amazing and enjoyable recreation of the beloved You vs. Boo feature of SMB DX mixed with the Mario vs. Luigi feature of NSMB! A match made in heaven!	8 / 10

Maybe, it would be a good practise for the multiplayer for New Super Mario Kart.

Well are you going to scrap NSMK? Also, I think you should sell this to nintendo, and have it released for the DS along with super mario bros in nsmb control style!

Well,he's not scrapping it,anyways,to the comment,great game,the mega mario adds to the feel of it all,SMBDX for the GBC shoulda had this,should i suggest something,but i do remember fire mario in the GBC edition.

Nice, but Mega Mario is glitchy. Once, I jumped and hit the bottom of the flag pole, but Mario was holding onto the block, then he flipped off, and started sinking into the ground. Also, Boo kept killing me by switching up the blocks. He always did it when I was on a bidge... that jerk.

I didnt read the Game's description.(please remember this) i only completed SMBDX yesterday. Thats when i found the origin of YOU vs Boo (i thought Flippy made it) This one made by Flippy is better than the original

Wow, I grabbed the flagpole at the very top, and I warped off the flagpole, and I still went down, THROUGH THE FLOOR NO LESS. Hilarious glitching at its finest! :P Still, good game.
