General Commentary and Game Overview
Super Luigi Dreams is really an awesome game. It is full of replay value, has great level design and many features not often seen in fangames, like imaginative bosses, switch blocks and more. It's also a simple game - but that helps make it what it is!

Pros Level design almost better than NSMB
New features
Decent plot
Luigi
Bosses

Cons Too short
Some levels are too hard
Amps in 6-1

Impressions
Gameplay
10 / 10
The game is simple. Reach the spinning star at the end of the level. There's no running, no powerups (except for the feather, which allows Luigi to jump infinitely until it runs out) and the levels are simple. But, that's what makes it so great. One level focuses on using the Starman to the best of your ability. Another tests your bouncing skills. There's even a race against Boo. The enemies all work great. And I noticed no flaws in Luigi's movement!

Graphics
8 / 10
The map screen was the worst part. Otherwise, graphics were great! Luigi was well animated and the enemies all had little touches. Touch an Amp, and Luigi would get electrocuted. Stomp a Koopa Paratroopa, and it's wings would fall down like in YI. Only thing that stops this from getting a perfect score is the tile splits. The game still looked good, but it spoilt it enough for me.

Sound
9 / 10
Music from various games that fits well. Many sound effects, too. I loved Luigi's "Yahoo!" on jumping on a spring.

Replay
10 / 10
There is so much to get. You can collect 6 badges. Unlock the Yoshi Huts. Every level has a fairy. SLD is full of replay value!

Final Words
10 / 10
Super Luigi Dreams is a perfect fangame. With a great engine, loads of incentives to play it again and good graphics, there are 0 excuses not to play it at least once.
