Huh, interesting -- it looks like they were actually going to use the original SMB1 ground tiles and update them into the SMAS style, instead of making a completely new tileset (though, that does look great). Good rip, by the way!

To be honest, I like the orange eye for the Banzai Bill. It just seems to work well. I really like these sprites, by the way! I like that you put in the effort to make actual spinning frames for the sawblade, so people don't have to rotate it in-game!

Hey, I remember these guys! Nice to see them get love here, considering how little attention the SML series gets! My complaint here is how the running rock's right glove looks more blue than white. The sprites look great other than that, though!

Great sprites, Omega!

I want to say that since about a few months ago, you've become one of my favorite spriters! I love the cartoony vibe in your sprites, and the fact that you sometimes add in cool surprises (like the gun for the Torpedo Ted shooter, for example) is simply the cherry on top! I can't wait to see what you'll make next!

That new logo looks really cool! I like how it references the logo from the 2006 main site design! Also, it's nice to see that MFGG Awards is up! Looking forward to how that ends up! :)

This looks really good! I do think that Toad is one cool dude!

I think the only problem with the colors is that the blue and purple (which I assume is meant to be a shade of the blue) don't really look good together. It also makes it look like Toad's vest is switching between blue and purple. Maybe try making the purple darker and perhaps a bit bluer, and see how that looks.

A little rough in some areas, but the sprites still look very appealing! I wouldn't mind seeing a remake of this! I remember seeing those red Skeeters from NSMB back then, calling them apples! XD

Did you extract all the files into a folder? CNCS32.dll is included within the download, so I think the game should work if you extracted all of the files together. If that's not the case, however though, then this might be worth looking at: https://mfgg.net/index.php?act...mp;c=6&id=7

Anyway, I just tried out the update, and I'm really happy with it! I noticed that some of the number ranks have been changed to the proper writing (e.g. "23th" to "23rd"), which I appreciate. However though, I found a new bug. Normally, when you do a memory game and then exit, you should see the memory panel disappear on the map screen. In this update, though, you don't see the panel at all, until you do another level, when you see the panel appear only to vanish properly. You can even just go to another map screen, play a level, and you'll see that panel. Also, there's another bug that I found earlier but forgot to mention: In the Sunken Ship, there's a part where you can knock out a Thwomp by hitting the blocks below it. What's buggy about it is that when the Thwomp leaves the screen, he teleports to right below the ceiling and slides to the right, eventually going through the wall!

Merry Christmas to you too! I really had a merry time with mine! It's too bad to hear about that bug, but at least you're looking into it! It'll be nice to hear it get fixed, along with other bugs like the average score glitches!

Oh yeah, I definitely recommended MTA3! It's good stuff!

You have to shoot fireballs at the Hammer Bro, done by pressing Ctrl, I think (if that doesn't work, then maybe it's the spacebar). It doesn't matter if you're on the ground or air, since your fireballs go straight to the Hammer Bro. I just beaten the game! Man, the high-tier levels are so much fun to play through! I think of all the levels I've played, my favorites are Flying Ocean Tower, Sunken Ship, and Flaming Forest Frenzy! The Bowser fight is an unexpected, but cute touch, although it somehow felt a bit anticlimactic. Not exactly sure why, though, it just feels that way. Looking forward to the sequel!

By the way, did you forget about Syaxamaphone's level? I noticed that there's no level marked 9th in the whole game -- I even looked carefully through all map screens!

Also, I'm not sure if the official SMB3 is like this, but it annoys me that you cannot jump off of vines when you have the raccoon powerup.
