I'll tell you one. http://mfgg.net/ . >>;
Anyway, nice game. If I could, I would give it 11/10. *wishes he knew where to find that world 1-4 music*

Go to VGmusic.com
You will find all kinds of VGmusic there.
PS: 1-4 music is SM64 Bowser's levels.

Are you going to update this with another demo, or the final release?

I will at max update the demo once.
Then comes the full version.

Why do you die at the end?

Because this is a nice ending and an explanation why the demo ends here.
I prefer that over "End of demo."

before you finish the full game, could you please make more monsters?

The enemies in Mario games are called enemies, not monsters.
And yes, I am adding a lot of enemies.
Cheep Cheep, Blooper, Dry Bones, Hammer Bros, Paratroopas, and Red Koopas are already in.
Wiggler not to forget.
Don't worry about the number of different enemies.

It [the Mario sprites] is pretty useless as long as Mario has no actual useful animations...
The rest of the sheet can be used though, especially the stars and the things that are sprites anyways.

Are these sprites on the internet?

no. And if they were, it would not be permitted.
Those sprites and tiles are meant for SMBDDX ONLY.

(Although I will submit them to MFGG once the game is released.)

And you should have kept the same music as R-1...
This is so the video I learned about this game from:

This is the same music, just that the recorder of this video decreased the quality.... >_<

Finally one Trisoft Engine game that doesn't suck.

Good job, you editted a lot in this engine. You might be able to do your own, actually.

Your level design kept me from playing though, your levels are so long that I don't bother trying it again after diing after a longer distance (after the 3rd time). :(

Other than that, it's good. I might try it again later.

not bad. It works how it should basically.
Although 90° rotations would likely be better...

What the hell is the purpose of making a crappy game?
Especially if you know that it is crappy, why do you even submit it?

Instead, show us your "non-crappy" version when you are so awesome. I can't take you serious, I'm sorry =(

How's the making of the game?

World 1 and 2 completely finshed.
Also the engine is pretty much done. All that needs to be done is to program new enemies and stuff.
So I give it a 40%.

The full game will have 8 worlds, plus 2 secret extra worlds. Just wait for it, you won't regret it.

Itīs the hardest walljump to ever exist!

Nope. The walljump in Luigi's Game by me is the hardest. It's so hard that a lot of people don't even know it exists!

Thanks for that awesome review.

I'd like to point out that water levels are indeed to follow (they're already made, and work pretty much perfect).
Also about all the objects acting like in the official games was one of the main aims in creating this game, thanks for mentioning it.
While goombas and koopas were easier at first to do, other enemies like the Hammer Bros, Red Koopas and Bloopers challenged me a bit more, but they also work pretty close to the original now.

Your comment on the graphics was very special for me, because the whole game started with the idea of having all Mario sprites from SMB reshaded without adding extra pixels to make them look "better". The only sprite I have changed by adding ONE pixel so far, that is princess peach, because she really looked ugly, I hope you don't mind. (Peach is not in the demo, just in case one is wondering..)

About sound, we share an opinion.
Unfortunately I didn't find any good remixes that would both sound "new" and also match to the classic style.
By the final release date of the game, I hope to find the music I was looking for at the beginning.

Really seriously how do you it's completely impossible!!!! ..::IMPOSSIBLE::..

it's not impossible.
You just need to push the upper crate on top of the other. To free the upper one, you need a bob-omb.

The easy method would be to use a glitch:
Pick up a Koopa shell, and jump over that pit.
While you're falling, release the shell and you will jump in mid-air.

Still, don't get your hopes up, I think it's about time this game gets moved to the "scrapped" section... It's very, very old, and so is its engine.
