These are pretty cool! Though I'm not too fond of the big bullet bill. His eyes and teeth look really off to me, and some of the highlights look a little too big and rounded to me. Also, the big goombas shading looks a little strange. Other than that, I really like these! ^u^

The yoshi looks really cute

There's a lot more than that...SMB3, SMW...etc. I bet there needs to be more!

Judging by the sheet's title, I think these are just the SMB1 sprites, not all of them (though having all of them would be awesome xD).

You're making about as much sense as the other whiny children in this thread. How is it any harder to use the sheet as it is now, as opposed to if the sheet didn't have backgrounds? It takes just seconds to remove the backgrounds yourselves, but apparently, that's too much work for any of you. Besides, the only reason Zack (or any member, for that matter) submits work is so people have an option to use said work should they need it. It's not about how many people use it.

I am not going to say this again: Zack is free to make his sheets however he pleases. Constructive criticism is about critiquing the sprites themselves. Immature nitpicking is about b****ing and moaning about the smaller, less-important aspects of the sheet, without even touching the parts that actually matter. What you are all doing is immature nitpicking, and it needs to end now.

Oh yeah I suggested that he stop being rude to those who are clearly trying to help him. I'm such an immature idiot.

Really, can people stop insulting each other? Can we not discuss this without being rude to one another? I even said that I liked his sprites, but I just found the background to be something that makes it a little harder to use, and it's unnecessary. So that's why I think it would be better if in the future he doesn't do that... -_-

BOOHOO I HAVE TO SPEND A WHOLE MINUTE REMOVING THE BACKGROUND FROM THE SPRITE SHEET TO PUT IT IN MY GAME, OH WOE IS ME! *my impersonation of you people*

Why are you being so incredibly immature? Are you really too stuck up to discuss what may be a flaw in your sheet without putting other people down?
People are just trying to help you better organize your sheet and you're being very rude.

And no one is whining about having to remove the background. We don't have to use your sprites. But making the sheet smaller and easier to use is just a way to increase the chances of people using your sprites, which I'm sure is the purpose of making them.

Yeah, I agree with Mit and the others here. The backgrounds, whether or not they detract from the quality of the sprites themselves, are unnecessary and do make the sheet harder to use and they increase the file size. I think the best way to present a sprite sheet would be to have everything as tight and easy to use as possible, since the backgrounds of the sheet won't be of any use to people anyways, and most people don't want unnecessary space taken up.

Also, you shouldn't get so defensive you know. Criticism is helpful, even if you don't like what you are being told.

Just like with the Mario ones, the SMB2 and SMB3 sprites look really great, though something about the SMB1 and SMW sprites look a little off to me. But overall good job!

Really neat sprites, once again! You probably make some of the most useful sprites on this site! ^u^

why not try to improve the sprites themselves rather than make the sheets have a bunch of needless junk in them? these sprites are definitely far from perfect (SMB1 in particular is very blobby) and wasting time on making the sheet rather than the sprites themselves "look unique" is a waste of time.

Just because he put unnecessary time into the backgrounds doesn't really mean that he spent any less time on the sprites themselves than he would have.

Yeah, it's really not that hard xD
Just recolor the green yoshi sprite using the blue yoshi's palette. Then you have blue yoshi with no wings! ^_^

He is not, Mors. And I think that's already easy to do, just recolor the Yoshi, add the smoke effects for the earthquake, and done.

From looking at the sheet, the Yellow Yoshi is not there, because all of his forms are based on the SMW's original Powerups. There is no such powerup for Yellow Yoshi (Earthquake Flower anyone?)

I think Mors was just joking xD

I think that would be a fairly simple recolor ;P
