General Commentary and Game Overview

Oh boy, this game looks fantastic just from the thumbnail! The thumbnail doesn't lie, at all.

Pros	+Character selection +Great music +Pretty graphics +Great physics +Very polished
Cons	-Jump height is a bit too high -Difficulty curve resembles a cliff

Impressions

Gameplay 8 / 10	Great engine, I gotta say. The only thing that bugs me is the sluggish movement and the crazy high jump height. It isn't much of a problem, though I got used to it fast. The beginning of the game babies you, to say the least. After a few levels the game becomes unrelenting. The difficulty skyrockets out of nowhere.
Graphics 10 / 10	I think the graphics are great! Everything looks beautiful and nothing is an eyesore. Buuuuut, something about the Mario and Luigi sprites seem weird. Other than that, fantastic!
Sound 10 / 10	I loved the music to death, the original music was great! The sound effects were fresh and nothing was low quality or bad sounding.
Replay 5 / 10	The low score here isn't anything bad and doesn't influence the overall score. The game is just a platformer and platformers aren't known to provides heaps of replayability.

Final Words

Fantastic game that emulates older platformers very well.
