General Commentary and Game Overview

I apologize that this is old, but I wanted to share my thoughts about this game.

This is really one of my favorite mario game I played, it's a lot more complex than the original mario games. The music is good, but there are a few glitches. It's an awesome game, but if it was easier, but not too easy, it was even better.

Pros	- Cool graphics and music - Awesome level design - Smooth engine - It's a long game that you haven't completed easily
Cons	- It's too hard sometimes - When I run to the right, mario doesn't jump (a glitch) - Some shine-sprites and items are unreachable. - Things like the upside-down spinies go way too fast.

Impressions

Gameplay 7 / 10	The gameplay is cool, but as I said above, the glitch that mario can't jump when he runs right makes it really annoying for me. Really. Other than that, it's awesome.
Graphics 10 / 10	Probably the best thing of the game is the graphics. I like the SMB3 mario, and the Black Squirrel tileset is just awesome. But why do all your games have the same graphics?
Sound 9 / 10	Cool music, i want to use it into my game. The athletic theme (the remix of the smw theme and the smb theme) is my favorite song from this game. But the cave theme doesn't seem that mario-ish to me. Maybe it's because my computer, but sometimes the SFX effects are all garbled up.
Replay 4 / 10	There aren't any secret courses in the game, maybe they were a nice add-in. As such, the game gets boring after some time. And because I can't get past the ghost manor world, I don't play it very often now.

Final Words

An awesome game, really. Make it less hard and work away some glitches, and it's the best game I've played!
